Artellia had chosen the pool for this moment in her life for it has also been the place she had been accepted. Now it was to be the place where she would leave and move on to better places; and hopefully better people. She could not help but be excited for she had found a male to follow that was everything she wanted. Tsunami's cocky yet almost caring demeanor was enticing and his sleek body and magnificently formed tail brought saliva to her mouth and she liked her chops in the heat of the day, needing some cold water to clear her head.
She needed to go about this in a logical fashion, who knew how the pack might react? She shivered lightly in anticipation eyes scanning the area for any pack members. Her reptile soul had already moved on, relinquishing any loyalty to the pack and already awaiting the future, but her loyal wolf side still did not want to leave on bad terms.
Eranuissi pipped up to save her from such dangerous thoughts, Get off it girl, this male is worth far more than the pack. Not only is he a hunk, but missy he is strong. Leave these nobodies behind, you have the chance to grow big here, it's what we always wanted. Now buck up and grow up princess, welcome to the real world. The monitor's rash comments grated on her nerves today and she snapped at the air as if to cut off the sound of the voice.
Artellia's golden eyes hardened as she prepared for what must be done, it was her, and now perhaps Tsu, against the world and she be damned if she let a pack stand in her way. In a soft yet determined voice she said, "Bring it on."

Knowing that she was the knew Gamma, she knew that she needed to up her patrols and watch for intruders. With Rhiannon pregnant and bound to give birth soon, she knew the Alphess couldn't do all the accepting lately. Of course, the female had not announced this to the pack, but Sandra had been around long enough to see it easily. She noticed the swollen belly of her leader, though said nothing about it. She was sure when the time was right, the little red panda myou would announce this joyous thing herself.
The Barn Swallow Myou yawned and stretched out in her bed, rolling around in the soft grasses that she had stuffed it with. Sighing, she heaved herself up onto her feet and shook out her pelt and feathers free of dirt. She left her little den and entered the large cavern. Her black talons clacked on the stone floor as she made her way out of the cavern. She spread her wings and floated down out of the cavern, landing at the edge of the pool waiting at the bottom. It was there that she spotted another myou, a rather strange looking one at that. She had seen her once or twice before and could only assume she was crossed with a reptile of some sort. What was her name again? Ah! Artellia, that was it.
With a smile, Sandralina yipped at the female not too far from her, offering a friendly greeting, "Afternoon, Artellia. I'm Sandralina, the Cadre's Gamma. I believe I've seen you around a few times, but I've become terribly busy and haven't had much time to stop and say hello..." She waited patiently for the female's response. In the mean time, she sat back on her haunches and lowered her head, sticking the front parts of her muzzle into the water. She opened her mouth, lapping and sucking up the cool liquid. Lifting her head, she let the cool water slide down her parched throat, allowing her to feel refreshed after her...not good nap. She hadn't slept well. She assumed overworking herself did such things. | |

Tsunami had walked side by side with his new partner in crime, all the way to the cadre lands. Then he felt the need to stay by her flank and watch for any possible danger that might take them by surprise. If paranoia did anything beneficial for the hybrid, it was keeping him vigilant. Every breath he took in reeked of the pack and he growled lowly with each exhale. He suppressed the urge to mark the ground as he went with his own scent, knowing that might be taking things too far. He would wait to see how things played out before doing anything rash. This would be Artellia's play for the most part, he was there to protect her and make sure things went according to plan.
The sound of her honey-sweet voice caused a small smile to rest on his maw. He nipped at her hip playfully after she spoke and then picked up the pace so that he walked beside her once more.
"That's my girl.." He almost purred in approval of her attitude. Tsun was starting to become more comfortable with the idea of having Artellia as more than just a friend..More than just a good friend. He allowed his body to come in contact with hers for a moment, if only to ensure his scent would be on her green pelt once they encountered a pack member.
Once another wolf became visible, Tsunami's demeanor changed entirely. He lowered his head dangerously and stalked toward the stranger, his lips beginning to pull from his fangs. Then he realized that this was a female, and that she seemed friendly if anything. The yagi hybrid snorted loudly to calm himself. So this was a ranked wolf? Excellent.

Flutters seem to spread in her chest when Tsu followed closely at her side. The impressive hybrid was the perfect blanket of security for whom would contest with such a force? The slight nip on her flank did indeed cause her cold blood to warm and she turned to rub her cheek against his shoulder, leaving her scent upon his fur. Her own pelt was short with what could be prickly fur should it be rubbed the wrong way, however, when smoothed down it was a sleek and shiny dark green, the golden yellow spot gleaming in the sun. Knowing full well the beauty of her almost scaly fur she smiled with cold satisfaction.
When a superior finally appeared Artellia was prepared to face a harsh commanding figure, having stoked up on some anger however Sandra's pleasant greeting certainly shot down the anger. How could one be angry with such a friendly disposition? Eraniussia pipped up, once again saving Artellia with her reptile nature. "Oh please, she is just being nice for she wants to steal away your catch, don't give in to that bull crap." You think it might be a false face, she asked? But she got no response even though she knew that the crocodile monitor was silently telling her to step up her game, prizes could be stolen.
She sat up from her spot, resembling a reptile uncoiling from sunning as her long tail spun around to curl lightly at the tips. Sauntering closer her golden eyes gleamed with excitement as her shoulders rolled coyly. "Well sugah, that is neither there nor here. I am Artellia and I have chosen tah leave this pack for bettah prospects." She paused to move slightly closer to Tsu, "Though it is a pleasure to make yeah acquaintance at this tardy hour."
It was now or never, and Artellia much preferred the now then the never. "If I may be so bold I seek yah permission to leave the Cadre, though I expect I will be doing so with or without it, but you must undahstand, I choose manners first." She smiled, a reptile grin that though pleasant in nature was almost challenging. She ran one claw in a circular pattern along the ground, body appearing relaxed but muscles remaining coiled. Sometimes having a reptile's instincts proved to be a tad irksome; the constant desire to strike out a hindrance to her patience.
