[scrolly:h(575), w(340),sy] The clouds gathered in the sky, a rolling mass of grey that quite matched Zippora's mood, if not her entire life at the moment. Light rain dampened her vibrant red fur as the fire Lupuse sat atop a small hill. There were trees a few feet away, she should take cover from the rain, but the she-wolf didn't really care anymore. Ever since her entire family had been killed, she had been searching for her younger sister, the elusive Kasmira. Zippora frowned and sighed, the air heavy and gloomy around her muscled form.
She didn't even know if she was alive. "Where are you, Kas?" she whispered quietly to herself. Was her colorful sister now telling stories to her own pups? Was she hurt or being attacked where Zippora could never find her? Was she even alive? The mental image of a pack of unruly purple pups running around made her smile, and her heart ached to settle down, maybe have a family of her own. But not before she found what she was looking for: Her little sister. Her smile quickly disappeared as the rain trickled down her back, chilling her.
She wanted to give up, to just lie down and drown in all this rain, but her life spark refused to die, she knew, she'd tried it before. No, Zippora knew that she'd pick herself up and keep going, keep searching, like she always did.

[scrolly:h(420), w(340),sy]IC "Talking" "Normal" Sky fluttered gracefully to the ground. She jumped and splashed in the rain like a newborn pup. Even though Sky liked snow and rain, swimming was out of the question. Sky was having on of her mood swings, and to let off her elated spirits she flew up into the air, barked a few times, and did the loop-the-loop. She flew higher and higher laughing madly until she was encase it a freezing cold cloud. She stuck her snout out and then her head. As she looked around, she spotted the wolf. It wasn't very hard, considering the wolf was a vibrant red. Sky flew out of the cloud and circled like a vulture over the wolf. Sky, hoping the wolf wouldn't look up, flew lower and lower. As she watched the wolf, she concluded that this wolf was not very happy, unlike Sky. The wolf's eyes appeared sad, and there was a feeling of despair around her. Sky, feeling that she should cheer up this wolf, flew into a solitary tree and said loudly "What's the matter? You seem like your souls been taken by a rushing river, red wolf." Sky waited for the wolf to answer as she shifted along the branch to be right above the red wolf. [/scrolly]

[scrolly:h(260),w(420),sy] Kasmira gay fully trotted along the colorful prairie in the light rain, enjoying the fresh, clean scent of the air as the rain spattered on wildflowers everywhere. Her bright purple fur was damp and she was a little chilly, but it was a nice reprieve from the summer sun and heat of the past few days. Her white paws sank in the tall, wet grass as her green eyes scanned the area. Not far away, she noticed two wolves, and smiled to herself: Company was always welcome to the friendly wolf. Suddenly her breath caught and the Lupuse stopped, without words. She jumped back, suddenly afraid: Was it a ghost?
She shook her head, blinked once or twice, but the wolf remained sitting there, not far away. It had been more than a year since the dreaded battle had taken her family away from her, and her pack, and Kasmira was certain her sister had been dead. Of course, she hadn't taken much time to grieve, and seeing the familiar face was cutting her heart open all over again. Tears formed in the usually positive Lupuse's eyes, turning them into a misty green. She approached, her heart drumming in her ears as memories rushed through her mind, a constant whisper: Zippora... Zippora... Two young wolves wrestling playfully together... Zip teaching her how to hunt... Zip telling her stories... And then a lone, purple wolf, herself, howling at the moon in the aftermath of a bloody battle...
She walked in front of the all-too familiar older sister of hers, being rude for once in the social butterfly's life and ignoring the other wolf and she sniffed: The familiar and welcome scent of fire, smoke and ashes reached her nose, tingled her senses, awoke her memory. Kasmira remained standing, awestruck, her smile gone to be replaced by absolute shock: "Zip..." she couldn't find words to describe the situation, and for once the storyteller didn't know what to say. "Zippora.... Is that you, sis?" she asked, her green eyes wide. Is this really her? Or a cruel look-alike? Am I going crazy? she thought wildly to herself.
Lately, she had been thinking more and more about her older sister, and now, here she was, and Kasmira had no idea what to do. She was surprised, over-joyed, excited, nervous, happy, sad and scared all at the same time. [/scrolly]

[scrolly:h(575), w(340),sy] Zippora frowned as an annoying voice filtered through her gloom. She looked up at another Keiyou, who had intruded upon her time of misery, in Zippora's opinion. She fought the urge to growl and snap back, and instead simply sighed and rolled her eyes: Great, she thought angrily to herself, now I have a nosy bird to deal with! Her younger sister's calm, reassuring voice found it's way into her head: Be nice, Zip, she just wants to help... she could almost picture her sister's small, secret smile, and her friendly, bright green eyes. Kasmira had been born with all the charm and positivity, while Zippora hadn't been so lucky. Sure, in the good ol' days when she wasn't depressed she could strike up a conversation, and knew some pretty good conversation topics, but Kasmira had been the center of gatherings and events. However, Zippora was never jealous: She had her own talents.
Summoning up her best smile, which turned into a rather awkward grimace, she answered the other wolf: "Hello. I'm fine, really, it's just the rain. It's kinda gloomy." she said, her voice strong. Zippora was a proud wolf, and of she didn't have pride, what did she have?
Suddenly, a very familiar voice reached her ears, and she perked up, her orange eyes lighting up with so many emotions as a ghost, or the twin of her sister, walked up to her. Okay, she thought gloomily to herself, now I'm hallucinating. But when the purple Lupuse came near, there was no mistaking the bright green eyes, or the purple fur, or the perky demeanor. Nor the familiar, earthy smell, full of flowers and fresh grass and springtime that Kasmira possessed. When the wolf spoke, it was like reliving her entire past: The calm, yet friendly voice brought back so much...
Finally, after several tense moments, she found her voice, as energy and excitement rushed through her: Here she was! The very wolf she'd been searching for for a year or more, whom she thought was lost forever, showing up just like that, in front of her. Zippora grinned, the smile lighting up her entire face: "KASMIRA! Yes, it's me!" she barked, over-joyed as tears of happiness welled up in her eyes. After a year or more of being sad, gloomy and depressed, weighed down with thoughts of despair and death, it seemed like a thick veil had been lifted, and she was now free.
Zippora pounced playfully up to Kas, nudging her with her nose lovingly, then licking her right on the ear like they had used to do. Suddenly she stopped, and stood waiting for an answer: Will she recognize me? Does she still think of me as a sister? Zippora thought worriedly to herself. The usually strong, independent wolf was acting like a crazy fool, but for once, she had found more than what she was looking for: Kasmira, and her happiness.

[scrolly:h(420), w(340),sy]"Talking" "Normal"Sky was not fooled. The look the red wolf gave her was more like a grimace. Sky nodded to what the red wolf said, understanding that she needed time to be alone. Sky stood up, stretched out her wings, and then heard "Zip, Zippora,.... Is that you, sis?" Sky, startled, flew out of the tree. Just in time to see, (upside down) the red wolf, Zippora, launch herself toward a purple wolf. Zippora was obviously happy, as she barked "KASMIRA! Yes, it's me!" But something else seemed to stir in her and she stopped. Sky untangled herself and brushed twigs and leaves out of her fur and wings. She wiggled around trying to reach one stuck in her feathers at the tip of her wing. The two wolves were watching each other, so Sky gave up and sauntered over to them. "Sis, hm? So that's what you were sad about. Missing her eh? I had a sister once... And multiple brothers. All dead now though..." For a moment Sky's blue eyes turned dead, but in the next moment they were twinkling again. "Lucky people who still got family. Stick with family and you're okay... If you don't have any left, then you got to join a pack.." Sky smiled warmly at them. "You two don't belong to any pack do you? [/scrolly]

[scrolly:h(308), w(340),sy] The earth Lupuse was utterly and completely surprised when her sister began prancing around, even that her sister was there at all. Suddenly though she stopped, an odd look clouding her eyes, but Kasmira was too surprised and gloriously happy, the happiest she'd ever been, to think about it. Happiness overwhelmed Kasmira, and her bright green eyes filled with tears of joy: Here they were, together again, and the storyteller knew she wouldn't ever let her go again.
She grinned, and licked Zippora back, rubbing against her in sisterly love. Finally she stopped, and looked into the fire Lupuse's orange and yellow eyes: "It's so good to see you, Zip. I... I thought you were dead. Where have you been all this time? Are there other pack members alive?" she asked, and even though Kasmira knew that everything would be different from now on, it was wonderful to see her sister again.
When the Keiyou approached, Kasmira glanced at her, smiling even more than usual, her green eyes alight with joy. "Hello, I'm Kasmira, and actually, I do live with a pack, the Children of Hvitur Ari, not far away in the Lumera valley. I'm a storyteller with them. This is my older sister, and we've been separated for over a year now." She told this to her sister as much as the other wolf. Kasmira realized the difference between her and her older sister: While Kasmira had sought out company and friendship to help her through her loss, Zippora had preferred to deal with her pain herself, alone. The thought of her sister so sad and alone broke her heart, and Kasmira cursed herself for not looking for her, even if she had thought she was dead.
The kind wolf also felt bad for the other wolf, a Keiyou, who she guessed had also lost her family. " I am sorry about your family, uh..." Then the Lupuse realized she didn't know the other wolf's name. " Wait, what's your name again? I don't think I caught it." Kasmira smile apologetically at the Keiyou, but her focus remained on Zippora, not willing to even lose sight of her.[/scrolly]

[scrolly:h(575), w(340),sy] Zippora smiled to herself when her sister Kasmira began talking with two wolves at once: Herself and the other Keiyou, who seemed a friendly sort, if a little young. Zippora smiled, actually and truly smiled for once, at the other wolf, but didn't say anything, letting Kasmira do the talking, as it used to be.
"No, no other pack members survived... Our two packs beat each other out, until there was only a couple scared, hurt wolves from the other pack left and myself. I scared them away, and I've never seen them again since. I've been looking for you all this time, Kas. And you've been in another pack... How's that working out?" she asked, and although she didn't mean it, to Zippora her voice sounded harsh and mean, almost accusing.
She hung her head in shame: What is wrong with me? It's my long lost sister, and I'm yelling at her! "Sorry Kas, that didn't come out like I meant it to. How have you been? Meet any wolves?" Of course Zippora knew the answer to this, Kasmira was so friendly it was impossible for her not to. The fire Lupuse hung her head in shame, unsure of what to say. An awkward silence ensued.[/scrolly]
