The moist dirt was soft from the spray of the creek and it felt good against her semi aching paws. She had been patrolling all day and it was rather exhausting for her, considering she had be given a new rank. Master Fighter. She was not quite used to it still and it would take some time for her to adjust properly to the new title. She had been chosen to be this rank because of the experience she had with fighting and because of her age. She was an old Lumen, yes, and she had finally found a mate. She would do what she could to help her pack survive, though.
Evelyn glanced at the cold waters with her crimson eyes and stepped towards it, lowering her head to drink from it. The cool liquid slid down her throat and she lifted her head once more, stepping away from the waters. She sat down, knowing she was not supposed to step into the waters. The creek was a sacred place and no one was supposed to bathe in it or come in contact with it at all, unless one needed a drink. She sighed, having heard stories of the female who had sacrificed herself for her pack. The creek had been named after her in honor of what she had done. Things like that made the Lumen happy, as she knew there were wolves in the world who cared solely for their packs. She sighed, thinking of Magispar then.
The female had vanished without warning and Keinvarii had to take over the Alliance. She did not have a problem with it, as she trusted and liked the female greatly. She was a good leader and she had shown it many times over. She remembered how she had fought her when she entered the Alliance, but had only meant to play a joke on her. Things took a turn for the worse and the female had almost gotten herself killed trying to restrain the Lumen. The memories brought a smile to her face, as she remembered how she had gifted the Lupus with the ability to better control her powers. When the thought of powers came across her mind, she glanced around at the banks, realizing they were large enough for training and holding a meeting with the fighters. With that, she threw her head back and called out:
'Alliance Fighters, I summon you to Riala's Creek! Come to me!'

Keinvarii had heard Evelyn's call to the Fighters and had smiled; it was time to instill some organization and work toward a harmony that would allow them to defend themselves against the worst of intruders. It was her hope that by appointing experienced members to direct the others that a larger knowledge and a heightened strength could be found. She was more then well pleased with the candidates that had been designated and had accepted the position and it was now time to see if this new plan would indeed prove useful.
She picked up the pace and she ran toward the creek, sleeking through the tall grass with her head held high as her ears stood at attention, following the sound of the call. Upon emerging from the grass she stood on the banks, looking out on the river. She nodded her head in approval, it was a well chosen area and offered lots of room for training. Glancing down she saw Evelyn waiting by the creek and with a dip of her head she took off down the banks, making her way toward her friend.
Evelyn had been one of the first wolves she had met, and despite a rocky start she believed that they had gained a better understanding of each other that could not be created without a dispute. She grinned, it had been a rather grand experience and she knew she could trust the Lumen in the position. Walking up she bowed her head slightly to indicate respect for her fellow pack member and said, "Hello Evelyn, I must praise you on your choice for a training grounds, this will make a fine spot indeed. I hope this idea works, we are but a young pack and I think we are in need of some organization what with some rather dark wolves wandering about. I am glad to have you with us, there is none I would have rather had in this position." She smiled and her tail wagged back and forth across the soft sand.
A summer breeze flowed over her, bringing with it the sweet smell of hot grass and wild flowers and she paused to watch it dance across the river, creating small ripples as it passed through. She turned once again to the Lumen and added, "Don't mind me, I just wish to see how things will play out for this first session and to show our members that I care about this pack. If you need some backup then I am here, otherwise they're all yours." She winked to show her good will, Keinvarii had thought that as a new Guide it would be wise to show her support and try to attend as many training sessions as possible though she intended to leave most of the organization up to the Masters as they would be the ones most in contact with the trainees and they needed to create a good rapport.

[scrolly:h(197),w(410),sy] Raynor lifted his head as he heard Evelyn's call, and he listened attentively for a moment. His black ears snapped up and his gold eyes narrowed. Is it an attack? he thought anxiously to himself. The thought of such a thing maddened the fighter, and he growled to himself, his sharp fangs bared. Thinking the pack was under attack, he bunched up his muscles and jolted forward, thankful of all his years of training on land and in the water, which made him such a versatile Cael.
His large paws thudded the ground as the dying sunlight of the day glinted off the golden highlights in his sleek black pelt. He soon came to Riala's creek, and even though he was in a hurry, he made certain not to step in it, because he knew it was sacred ground. Instead, he jumped over it, landing not too far away from Evelyn and Keinvarii. He had heard that Keinvarii was the new guide, and this pleased him not because he hadn't liked Magispar, no, he knew she had been a good leader, but because Stone was the first wolf, before Faye, of the Alliance that the Cael had met, and accepted him into the pack. In the beginning, he hadn't been sure if this pack really was equal, but during his time with the pack, he felt it was, and would defend it to the death.
Raynor also knew Evelyn was now the master fighter, which didn't bother him in the least that a female had been chosen: He had no judgments, and he also knew Evelyn was a proven fighter, and would be an excellent choice for such a position. The fact that Faye had been chosen as the new advisor delighted him, and he hoped he would soon have time to congratulate her on this. He strode forward, glancing edgily around: " Greetings Stone and Evelyn. Is there an attack that I should know of?" he greeted them with a brisk and polite nod, but didn't smile: He was too busy trying to smell the scent of an attacker, or catch a sight of them.
He knew he was perhaps over-reacting, but such was the nature of the fighter inside of him. He remained standing, ready to pounce should the occasion arise, and wondered vaguely why Stone and Evelyn seemed so calm in such a time.
