[scrolly:h(260),w(420),sy] Kasmira padded quickly into the Philia Alliance's territory, she could tell by the smell of the pack. She and Cyra, her friend and the master hunter for the Alliance, had both agreed to visit for some hunting. The purple Lupuse smiled into the morning sun that was rising in the East, and hoped they could both get the majority of the hunting done before it got too hot. Her vibrant green eyes scanned the river side looking for any other early birds such as herself, but she saw and smelled no one. She sat down on a grassy spot near the river, waiting for her friend, another earth Lupuse such as herself, to arrive.
Kasmira was a friendly wolf, and meant no harm to the Alliance: She was just visiting a friend. She knew they would be hunting, and wondered if she would bring back anything to the Children's territory: Probably not, since the prey was killed on the Alliance's territory , so they should get to keep it. And anyways, I'm not a hunter for the Children. she thought rationally to herself. Waiting patiently, her purple tail swished back and forth and she casually made several colorful flowers bloom alongside the river. She smiled to herself, looking forward to getting together with Cyra again. [/scrolly]

Cyra woke up, with the sun shining in her eyes, and her pelt warming up comfortably under the sun. It was almost time to meet Kasmira by the river, on the edge of the Phillia Alliance territory, Cyra’s friend she had met not too long ago. The two didn't know each other that well, as there meeting last time did not last long. But they had seemed to get along well. They were both earth lupuses and though Cyra didn't know much about Kasmira that is why they were meeting up, right? Cyra smiled as she thought of her new friend, thinking that they would become great friends one day. She yawned and stretched her muscles. They were going to be doing some hunting today and she didn't want to hurt herself, so she jogged around lightly just to loosen up her muscles. She quickly groomed herself, and without further notice, headed out in the direction of their meeting place.
Soon after, the sight of the river came into view. She trotted along the river bed, taking in the warm, moist, yet sweet summer air of her surroundings. Hhhhmmm, Cyra thought, hunting alongside a river...Then she shuddered as she recalled the last time she hunted near a river. In the mountains it was, and she couldn’t help but to recall splashing in to the shockingly cold waters. But then she felt the reassuring sun beat down her back, and a smile spread across her face has Kasmira came into view. She noticed a couple flowers suddenly blooming along the river and giggled. Growing flowers was something Cyra liked to do too. Instead of saying hello as she normally would do to make her presence known, she stopped at a distance, picked a spot in front of Kasmira, concentrated, and before her eyes a beautiful lily grew up and up and then bloomed into a warm orange flower and a splash of pink, Cyra thought, as she added a tint of pretty pink into the middle if each pedal. The green foliage was perfect and she thought this was one of her best flowers yet. She sat in her spot and giggled again, knowing Kasmira would now know she was there and wondered what she would think of Cyra's addition to her flowers.

[scrolly:h(308), w(340),sy] The earth Lupuse's bright green eyes widened in surprise as a beautiful flower sprang up before her, and she wondered if she herself had done it without realizing it. But her nose caught the familiar scent of her friend Cyra, the only other earth Lupuse Kasmira knew, and she grinned, revealing pearly white teeth. She was about to introduce herself when a couple Jackaloppes cautiously approached the riverbanks, not far away. The purple wolf grinned at Cyra, and motioned with her head to the prey not far away. There were two of them, so one for each of them to catch and kill.
She went into a hunting position, her eyes alert, her claws out, her ears perked forward, hunched down, her tail barely brushing the ground. They were almost right in front of them, with Cyra and herself at perfect positions behind them. Kasmira was on the right, so she meaningfully glanced at her friend, and began approaching, her muscles bunched and ready to spring into action. Kasmira did enjoy to hunt, and with a companion it was always funner, and easier.
The Jackaloppes remained seated, and Kasmira bared her teeth and sprang forward, all focus on her prey. She sank her teeth and claws into the prey, but not before the Jackaloppe raised it's fuzzy head a moment before, slashing her leg with it's horns. Kasmira snarled in pain, and quickly finished killing the animal: There was no sense in prolonging it's pain, or death. She set the prey down, looking worriedly at her white paw, now marred with an ugly gash, long but not deep luckily. This is going to take a while to heal anyways, and will probably leave a scar! she thought to herself worriedly.
Suddenly, an unknown source of energy opened up inside of her, surprising the Lupuse. Slowly but surely, her cut began to heal, and in a moment, it was gone, with no scar left. The source closed up and suddenly Kasmira collapsed on the ground for a moment, shaken: How had she done that? Her head spinned and her stomach rolled in protest, and for a moment, the Lupuse just lay there, surprised. The feeling died away quickly, luckily for her. She had heard of some wolves with certain strange powers, but the storyteller had always thought they were simply legends, myths. Now she had just healed herself, and she quickly stood up, glancing around at Cyra. Had the other wolf seen her?
In truth, Kasmira was a little glad: If she ever did get in a fight, this would be of use. But she knew that the deeper the injuries, the harder it would be to heal herself. She was okay now, since the cut hadn't been too bad, but right after the healing she had felt sick and a little light-headed: She would have to be careful with this new power. She chose to be grateful instead: Now she wouldn't have to deal with an annoying and possibly painful cut, and perhaps never again. She stood a little taller, and looked for Cyra, hoping her plan had worked: If they both jumped at the same time, then they had two dead Jackaloppes. If she herself jumped first and the other Jackaloppe ran away, hopefully it would run into Cyra's open jaws. [/scrolly]

Cyra stood up as her friend, Kasmira, smiled at her, and she bounded happily towards her. It was great to see a friend again. And she was defiantly in the mood for some hunting; she always was.
Then she saw Kasmira tilt her head towards two jackalope, and Cyra’s happy bound suddenly turned into a sly walk, not making the tinniest of noises. She quietly came to the other side of the jackalope, her eyes focusing on the prey, and her ears alert for any sound of motion. She recognized Kasmiras plan. Both jump at the same time from opposite direction and there we have our job done. Brilliant plan She thought. Kasmira seemed to be a kind, energetic funny and smart earth lupus. What a perfect friend. Then she snapped out of her thoughts and went back into predator mode. Her body was tensed, and simultaneously with Kasmira, Cyra pounced.
The split second she was in the air heading for the jackalope, she heard Kasmira come in contact with one of the two. Of course she stuck to her task and kept her focus on the one bounding out of Kasmiras way and into her. Cyra’s body landed almost directly on top of the jackalope, but her attention tore away from the jackalope in her grasp and onto Kasmira as Cyra heard her friend gasp. She spotted her with a gash on her paw and a dead jackalope beside her. The first thought is Cyras head was to get to Kasmira immediately. And the second, Aaawww crap the jackalope! she thought, as she turned her head to see it fade into the distance. But in the next second she was racing over to her friend, worried sick about what had happened.
“KA”-and she cut short, head tilted in confusion. The cut on Kasmira’s paw had begun to heal. Slowly but surely, until there was nothing there. Not even a sign. Cyra stood there, awe struck for a moment, then made her way over to Kasmira. “um, wow, that was cool. Are you okay? What happened? Sorry I let that jackalope go! But good catch! And wow. Wait what happened again?” Then it struck her, and she mentally hit herself for not getting it in the first place. “Your a healer!! That's awesome! You never told me that!”

[scrolly:h(308), w(340),sy] The storyteller laughed at her friend's astonishment: "Well actually Cyra, I never even knew I was until now. And it's alright, even the best of us get distracted... Especially when their hunting companion miraculously heals themself...." Kasmira chuckled at her joke, winking at the other earth Lupuse. She felt like she had made a connection here with Cyra, and it pleased her greatly to have such a true friend. Someone that she knew she could count on, even if they were in different packs, someone who was funny, understanding and kind.
The purple Lupuse thought about her healing powers for a moment: If Reynard found out, would he make her become a nurse with the children? The young wolf was worried for a moment, since she really did enjoy her position as a storyteller, and was pretty darn good at it, if you asked her. Well, I can still help heal wolves and be a storyteller, right? She thought worriedly to herself, and glanced at Cyra, suddenly anxious. Would she be judged or treated differently if other wolves found out about her new powers?
Kasmira quickly made her decision, suddenly shy: "Ah, Cyra, do you think that maybe we could keep this as a secret between us two? I... I don't think it'd be a good idea for other wolves to find out for now..." she finished, looking down.
OOC: Sorry for the short post, but I think it's Cyra's turn to find/smell a prey now, so they can both be equal. [/scrolly]

[scrolly:h(480), w(340),sy] OOC; ok so yes there is a little powerplaying here. maybe alot. So if you want me to break it up into a couple posts then thats fine. just tell me too and I can make it shorter and you can continue. If your fine with it then that awesome too.
Cyra blushed a little, noticing just how fast she was talking and how she must sound. "Well actually Cyra, I never even knew I was until now. And it's alright, even the best of us get distracted... Especially when their hunting companion miraculously heals themself...." Cyra let out a little laugh along with Kasmira. She didn't know why, but she felt that discovering this together, had somehow made them closer. Cyra of course had other friends, but she realized now, none other to this extent. “Of course I’ll keep this between us Kas” She smiled warmly as if to say I’ll keep any secret for you. That's what friends do. She then noticed she called Kasmira Kas. It was the first time she had made a nickname for anyone or called another by their nickname. Even the guide of the Alliance she still called by her full name. A new smile spread across her face as she reassured her friend, “But if you’re worried anyone will judge you I don't think you have to. And if your worried you might be forced to become a healer in your pack, just talk it over with the leader. Maybe you could do a bit a both.” She added this, hearing the change in her friend’s demeanour.
She trotted down to the bank of the river to take a drink, when she heard the faintest of sounds farther down the river. Her senses were still in hyper-mode, and when her head turned, her eyes focused on an figure farther down the river bed. She motioned for Kas to look in that direction and hoped she spotted it too. Cyra slunk down into the trees and tall grass, barely visible, and made her way toward the prey making almost no sound at all. As she neared, she saw it was dear. This should be challenging she thought. But her eyes sparkled on how awesome it could be to take down a dear with her friend. She stopped at enough distance to pounce, her eyes tracing the spots where it would be best it. The throat obviously.
However, somewhere between her thoughts and now, the dear had heard something, and before it had the chance to get away, Cyra pounced. She flew through the air, aiming for the tender spot, but her plans were cut short as the dear kicked off into motion, catching her in the chest with it’s hoof. She landed on her back but hopped over in time to see it racing away. The impact on Cyra had also slowed the prey down, and in a split second she made her decision on what to do: The prey was too far away to go after physically, she so she used her remaining strength to take down the dear by using her surroundings. With a sudden surge of power she concentrated on making the grass in front of the fleeing dear grow taller and thicker to about the size of a fully grown vine. She watched has the dear came bounding into the trap, the vines wrapping up and around the prey’s legs and tightening. However they weren’t strong enough and at the last moment they ripped, but not before Cyra made them extraordinarily sharp so they cut into the dears legs, bringing it down in a moment. From the time when Cyra got kicked, to the dear falling down, only a couple of seconds had done by, but with the pain in Cyra chest, it felt like forever. She stood up trying to shake it off but it made it hurt even more. The pain was growing and she lay down, hoping the dear was theirs until her thoughts became slowed and she blacked out.
OOC: Also i had Cyra getting hurt planned before the Kasmira healer thingie so please dont thin ki just did that so Kas would heal Cyra. reeally i planned on her getting up herself and i never intended to put Kas in an an akward position. so sorry! so you can do what you want kay? thanks!
