[scrolly:h(350),w(320),sy] The day had been humid, and the weight of the humidity had plastered the fur on Keinvarii's back flat. However the banks provided a slight reprieve from the heat as the ever cool water of the river kept the air at a rather bearable temperature. Trotting down into the sand she turned to stare at the haze that floated above the prairie and the Alliance lands. The sun's lazy light filtered through it and crickets chirped as they hid withing the dry grass. The sound was a soothing one and Keinvarii breathed in the smell of dry grass baking in the sun.
It was barely evening and it was the perfect time to call a small social gathering, an informal event that would allow her to have a better idea of whom lived in the pack. Under the cool shade of a tree's thick roots she had hidden several birds and jackalops she had been busy catching that day a dragged them out, laying them in a straight line. At least she would be able to provide the pack with a small token of friendship. Smiling, she decided she might even lift the ban on swimming in the river to allow the pack to cool off.
She let out a resounding howl into the air, the strong and confident call sending out a message to the pack. It spoke of meeting for some fun and though it did not command participation she hoped all would show. Now it was time to wait for the fun to begin and she strode down to the river's edge to take a well deserve drink from the crystal clear water that reflected a peaceful blue sky. [/scrolly]

Narration "Talking"
Nova let out a snort as a clouds of dust got sniffed into her nose. She growled low at that irritation. The lupus had just laid her head back onto her paws when a call sounded. Hmmm, a meeting for fun eh. It seemed like a call a pack leader would make, and her curiosity got the best of her. She stood and shook off her thick pelt, its shifting shades shimmering in the sunlight; although the humidity made dewdrops on her pelt. Her violet gaze focused on her path and she started off in the direction she thought it was coming from. Breaking into a run she crossed the field, stopping abruptly when her gaze locked on another wolf. Another lupus? Nova padded forward carefully, her mind at odds with itself.
Is this the leader? No it can’t be; the alliance doesn’t have an alpha Sparkly had told her. But she sure seemed in control. Noticing there were no other wolves in sight she stopped quite a few yards from the other wolf and laid down, calling out a greeting.
Hello there. You called a pack meeting? Are you the so called leader?
Her voice was deep yet calm, and questioning the other. The river was gurgling quietly just as a brook should, but when she saw her drink from it her eyes widened. Sparkly told her that you weren’t supposed to drink from that river. Blinking blankly she just watched the other wolf, waiting for a response.

It was with a renewed energy that she got herself to her feet and ran to the meeting place that Stone had summoned them to, hoping to see Kainashi there. She missed her mate, and loved him so much, but had not seen much of him lately. She was sure that a call from Keinvarii would bring him there, bring him to her. She wished she could see him more than she did, especially with her new ranking as Master Fighter. Though it was not higher than the rest of the pack, it still came with a lot more responsibility. It came with organizing fights and making sure the other Fighters were doing their jobs correctly. She was an overseer of sorts.
Evelyn arrived on the scene of the banks of the sacred river, but saw only Stone and Nova, a wolf she had just accepted into the pack recently. She frowned when she did not see her mate anywhere. She slowed her pace, ears flattening in sadness when she did not see him at all. Hope glimmered in her chest, though. Perhaps he would just make a late appearance or have been farther than the rest of them from this place and took more time to get here than the rest. She was just rushing herself, knowing that she should not being doing so. There was still time and she knew Stone well enough to know that she would give everyone a chance to show up before commencing the pack meeting. Her crimson eyes spotted the dead animals lined up and she smiled at the gesture.
However, she could not eat them. She fed off life force, not meat. She would not be rude about it, though. The Lumen knew better than to make anyone mad or to make anyone feel bad about it. She watched as Nova laid down a few yards from the Guide and spoke, questioning if she was the so called leader. In that instant, she didn't like the tone in the female's voice and at the moment she was not in the greatest of moods. Her usually black and white pelt flared bright red in anger, then kept switching between any color that ran through her mind. She looked like a rippling rainbow or something. She calmed herself and returned her pelt to their normal colors: white with black paws, ears, and tail tip. She came to a stop beside Keinvarii, her close friend, and narrowed her gaze at Nova.
"I already told you, Nova. There is no true leader in this pack. Keinvarii is the Guide. She oversees the Alliance with great skill." For a moment, in her mind, she almost dared the Lupus to talk back to her, to provoke her.

Narration Talking
Nova was overjoyed when she saw Sparkles come walking in. But that joy shattered when she seemed irritable. The way the lumen snapped at her she seemed to be just disciplining her though she wasn't trying to do anything wrong. She was merely asking a question. Her ears flattened to her head in submissive apology.
I-I'm sorry Evelyn I didn't mean to sound challenging I was just asking a question.
Nova lowered her gaze from the female, apologizing quietly over and over and over. She hadn't done anyhting wrong; was askign a question not allowed here? She stood up and padded off farther away, not wanting to get into any more trouble than she was already in. She laid down on the grass; the sun beating down on her pelt. She was far enough away to not be disrupting or annoying, but she was still close enough to hear what was going on. From there she watched the scene; expecting more wolves to come and hoping she wasn't the only one to be around these two. Right now it seemed like Evelyn hated her for merely asking a question.

[scrolly:h(350),w(320),sy] Keinvarii was happy to see pack members respond so quickly, it was a good sign indeed. The first wolf to arrive on the scene, a lupus by the looks of them, was quick to attempt to determine her status and Keinvarii frowned a bit at that. However, before she were to receive the chance to reply her trusted friend Evelyn appeared. It seemed as though the Lumen was troubled and this certainly concerned Keinvarii. It was difficult to accept, but now was not the time to address this observation, she would have to wait until she caught the lumen alone.
The reply that came from the older female certainly seemed to second the lupus' observation, something was amiss. And Keinvarii had not seen Phoenix in the area, an equally troubling notion. But the evening was young yet, and Stone thought that perhaps the fire lupus had been busy raising her pups. Now there was this matter of smoothing over what could be a tense situation while respecting all parties involved.
Keinvarii could never have pictured herself in such a role, it had never been in her interest to care for anyone else but herself and isolation had prevented her from making any attempts at socializing. But it would seem Fate had another path chosen for her, and that was the day she had met Magispar. She missed her friend, for Magi had been the first she had ever had and the lupus had offered a place to live and a lifestyle that no other pack could provide. Keinvarii only hoped to follow that creed...
Smiling she spoke, "Pack meeting sounds so formal, call it a social and relax, this is just to get to know other pack members and go over a couple changes that have occurred. Evelyn speaks true, I am a Guide for this pack does not hold creed to the notion of leadership and alphas, please remember that." Her tail waged slowly back and forth across the sand as her piercing blue eyes regarded this lupus. "I would like to know your name, you appear to be a lupus, am I correct? I too am a lupus, and I can manipulate stone. You need not move away, I certainly will not bite though if you are more comfortable there feel free to stay. And if you are hungry please help yourself to these catches."
She supposed providing an explanation to her actions was appropriate and so she spoke up a final time,"I would like to ask you both to entertain a notion I have been thinking about recently. The river that flows through this meadow has been deemed sacred, as it should be. However, I believe that members of this pack should be able to use the water that flows within it as we are the protectors of this land and need water to survive. We must take care of this pack, and using means of survival at our disposition cannot be seen as a betrayal, but as a basic need." She fell silent and waited for any opinions that may be voiced.

Cyra was basking in the sun, taking a nap in the ever so soft grass, when she heard a far away call from the somewhat new guide, Keinvarii. She requested a pack meeting in which attendance was not required, but right away Cyra new she would go. She slowly opened her eyes, the sun blazing brightly in her vision, blinding her temporarily. However, her eyes quickly adjusted and she was on her paws, trotting towards her destination in no time. Every since she became a hunter she would run and workout a lot more, her muscles getting stronger each day. She felt this difference as she picked up her pace, not wanting to be late, in the hot humid weather.
Not long after, figures appeared in the distance. As she neared, she saw Keinvarii of course, and another lupus she couldn’t put a name to. They were getting many new members these days and thought what perfect timing for a pack meeting. The last wolf she saw was Evelyn, the new master fighter. Evelyn has already called a meeting for the fighters and Cyra mentally made a note do that soon for the hunters too. Maybe if all the hunters showed, after the meeting was done she would meet and talk to them all and then arrange for a day and place that worked well for all of them to attend. After all, it took team work to catch bigger prey, and it would benefit us greatly to at least know each other and each other’s strengths and weaknesses she thought.
She slowed to a walk and neared closer and if as to coincide with her thoughts she saw a couple catches lined up. She smiled as she remembered a hunting trip she had scheduled with Kasmira, her friend. She would most deffiantly bring something back for the pack then. Cyra took a couple of steps closer and greeted who was there, “Hello, Keinvarii, and Evelyn. It’s nice to see you two again.” She said as she nodded to both of them. She didn't particularly know them well but she had seem them a couple of times and of course heard about them, one of which being the guide and the other master fighter. Cyra then turned to the one she hadn’t met before, “Hello,” she said, nodding like she did with the others. “I do not believe we have met before. My name is Cyra and I am the master hunter. But by no means do I have any more power than anyone else - it’s more like a guide for a specific job. May I ask what your name is?” She felt like she had to add the part about being equal, even though the new wolf probably new this already. She loved her new title but didn't want it to seem as bragging or it being anything more special than any other job. She believed in equality just as much as the others did.

[scrolly:h(370),w(405),sy] Faye strolled along in the evening mists, glad that the sun and the heat of the day was mostly gone, though it still lingered in the air as crickets chirped nearby. The Lupuse new she was nearing the Banks of the Aquiri, the ground was beginning to get muddy and wet, and the grass longer. A howl reverberated through the air, and the she-wolf cocked her head to listen. A meeting? She hastened her pace, her long white legs carrying her the distance to where Keinvarii, Evelyn and Cyra were, with a new wolf she did not know.
Her yellow eyes focused on the new comer, curious: Another Lupuse, perhaps? She knew she herself looked almost like a Lumen, if not for her bright eyes and blue markings on her paws. Faye barked out a greeting and entered the clearing of sorts, smiling warmly. "Good evening Stone, what a great time for a meeting." Since she was the new advisor, Faye was in a rather happy mood, since she felt she could still offer advice to all members as her old rank of Sage allowed, and offer advice as an Advisor.
She noticed Evelyn seemed a little out of sorts, and wondered why. She stepped closer, and whispered to her, since she wasn't sure if the Lumen wanted the others to hear. "Everything alright, Evelyn?" Her yellow eyes showed concern for her friend and fellow pack member. Next was Cyra, the bright and happy master hunter, who reminded Faye of a purple Lupuse she had met long ago. "Hello Cyra! Good to see you!" she smiled, at ease with her pack and friends. Years ago, Faye would have ran from the thought of a meeting or social gathering, but the Philia Alliance had changed all that for her.
Faye stopped in front of the new wolf, another Lupuse. "Greetings, I'm Faye, the Advisor for the Philia Alliance. It's a pleasure to meet you." she offered kindly, her yellow eyes crackling with energy that quite matched her powers. Something about this wolf made her a bit on edge, but she didn't show it, preferring to reserve judgment: After all, who was she to judge some wolf she didn't even know yet? Faye continued to smile, curious about this wolf and her past. Only time will tell... She mused.[/scrolly]

"Don't apologize, Nova. It's fine. I'm just...irritated today. It's not your fault. Also...what happened to calling me Sparkly?" It was her attempt to lighten the mood between them. Honestly, she had not meant to snap at the girl. Her skin just prickled with nervousness, waiting ever so impatiently for her mate to show up. She missed him desperately and wanted to see him so badly, but she had not seen him or heard from him in such a long time. This made her stressed and more snappier than usual. She listened numbly as Keinvarii spoke to Nova about her not being a leader of sorts. Simply, the Lumen just sat herself down beside Stone, trying to feel the comfort of her fur so close. She just needed a friend at that moment, and her mate.
Her ears twitched when Keinvarii spoke of the river, about lifting the ban of swimming in it. It had been deemed that way by Magispar, if she remembered correctly. Her brow furrowed when she thought of the female, how she suddenly disappeared. Honestly, she had not really cared for the female as a Guide, for she did not know her as well. She respected and trusted Keinvarii with her life, but only because that bond had been formed early on. It was rare for the Lumen to have trusted anyone so quickly, but Stone was just different, and it was the start of where she was now. "Water is necessary for life. I know it is allowed to drink of the river, but bathing has been forbidden by Magispar, has it not? However...Magispar is no longer here. I believe the ban should be lifted. We cannot afford anyone dying of overheating."
It wasn't long after that before Cyra showed up, giving Keinvarii and Evelyn a cheerful greeting as she always did. The Lumen simply nodded and gave her a kind, gentle smile. She had grown accustomed to these wolves over the past many months. She had come to love each of them as her new pack, which had been hard to accept. She had grown up in a bad background, having not gained her powers in the first one hundred years of her life, and had been abused by her old pack for that century. It had been hard to even think about accepting these wolves, about accepting the equality policy. She had come to do this, though, mostly thanks to her stone manipulating Lupus friend. Her crimson eyes followed Cyra as she greeted Nova, then turned to Faye as she approached the scene. "So many Lupuse..."
As more and more wolves showed up, Faye being the last as of now, her heart became heavier and heavier. Where was Kainashi? Where was her mate, her love? She fidgeted uneasily as she gazed around, then Faye approached her and spoke in a low voice if everything was all right. She bit her lip a moment, then sighed. "I just want Kainashi to be here... I haven't seen him in so long... I just want my mate..." She told her. She watched as the Lupus bounded over to Nova to greet her as well. She smiled, at least the new girl was getting some attention. However, the frown returned. As nice as it was to have all of these females here, she just wanted her love to come to her. It made her sad to see that he wasn't here yet. She was surrounded by Lupus, a species she was supposed to hate, and they were all female. She wanted the other Lumen, she wanted the seemingly only male.
Evelyn wanted Kainashi to be beside her.

Narration Talking
Nova’s ears perked when Evelyn apologized. She seemed quite on edge, and the lupus wasn’t comfortable with that. She tensed, avoiding talking to anyone. She walked back up to her new friend and sat beside her, wanting to comfort her but not knowing how.
I didn’t call you Sparkly then ‘cause I didn’t want you to snap at me again.
Nova spoke the truth, for she did not like getting scolded. Very disciplined herself, she didn’t like others doing that for her. She rolled her eyes as she saw more wolves coming in and growled quietly to herself. What did she get herself into? Her tail straightened and her pelt bristled. Too many wolves made her uncomfortable. She tried to relax and put on a fake smile as they came and introduced themselves. She waited until there were more around so they would quit asking her name. It got annoying to her and she was about to snap.
For heaven’s sake stop asking me! My name is Ultraviolet Nova but call me whatever the hell you want!
Her gaze narrowed as her purple eyes remained piercing. She didn’t mean to sound rude, but that was her. Saying it how it is and not afraid to express her opinion. She stood, shaking out her pelt and walking to the edge of the river. She was far enough away from the others and wanted to play a little game.
Nova’s eyes glowed brightly as she meditated to control her lightning. She stuck a paw out across the water, and as soon as it touched the surface lightning sparked across the surface. Smiling coldly she stuck her whole paw in and watched as purple lightning exploded from under her paw to make a very interesting lightshow. Her eyes glowed with total amusement. She put both of her paws in the cooling liquid and lowered her muzzle to drink only a little bit of the water before backing out and taking a spot on the outside of the group where she felt more comfortable.

[scrolly:h(350),w(320),sy] Keinvarii directed her crystal blue gaze at Nova, mildly irritated at her rude response. If anyone the stone lupus understood how it felt to be overwhelmed by larger crowds, having lived in isolation her whole life. However, she had never been rude to fellow pack members. She could not tell the lightning lupus what to do; nor did she have any interest in doing so, but these were her pack members, friends and companions and they deserved respect.
She spoke to Nova in a calm voice, not afraid to speak her opinion. "It is great to have you among us today Nova, I offer you my welcome and thanks or attending this meeting. As much as the formalities of introductions can be stifling, it would be appreciated, at least on my part, if you would address others in a respectful manner. This is but an opinion, you are free to take it or dispose of it as you may wish, however if there is one thing I have learned its that others respond better to a kind word then a harsh one." She gave a genuine smile, hoping that Nova would see that Keinvarii was simply looking out for the feelings of the pack members.
Satisfied with her response she pushed on to other matters, intent on getting done with business as quickly as possible. "To keep the business side of this meeting short, I am going to summarize some of the changes that have been put into effect. I wish to congratulate Evelyn and Cyra for being given the responsibility of Master Fighter and Hunter, they are not higher ranked, but will offer any guidance to the hunters or fighters and hopefully solidify the protection and survival of this pack. In addition, Faye is the new Adviser, I am sure she will be excellent at keeping me in check." She winked at Faye, knowing that the wise female lupus had lots to bring. "And finally I offer my congratulation to Phoenix, she is our new Docent"
She grew a little morose for she had not seen Phoenix in a while, and though she assumed she was caring for her pups her extended absence was beginning to be quite concerning. Not wishing to alert the members she put it on her priority list to make some investigations after the meeting. She tried to make brief eye contact with Evelyn, Cyra and Faye to perhaps see if they knew of her whereabouts. "Now on to some more fun matters. I believe to celebrate the continued survival of this pack I would like to propose holding a festival in honor of the previous Guide, Magispar. I have mentioned it to a couple other members, and I think holding some friendly competitions, a bonfire and other activities might be a good way to close the end of summer." She stopped talking and awaited for the group's opinion, adding as an after thought, "Please feel free to raise any matters that have perhaps concerned you, questions or any suggestions at all, I am open to most anything and as a pack we can now collectively come to some decisions." [scrolly:h(197),w(410),sy] "Wind is blowing, Fall is coming, Leaves are falling, Summer's calling, For you and I to come and play, On this last season's day, To be happy and merry and bright, Before Fall calls the night..." Raynor trotted along in the evening, having just enjoyed a long swim around the Philia Alliance's territory. He hummed the tune he had just made up, when he heard Keinvarii, the new female guide, call a meeting. Since the Cael was in a rather good mood, he quickly jogged to the area, his toned muscles easily carrying him the distance as he arrived. The first thing he noticed was a bunch of jackaloppes lying around, and he presumed Stone had caught them. His respect for her immediately went up, which was high praise since the fighter already respected her.
He padded over, tongue lolling and stomach growling: He hadn't ate all day, and his patrol had been tiring. He arrived in time to hear a wolf, most likely a Lupuse, rudely address Cyra, Evelyn and Faye and then shuffle off to do an interesting trick with the water. Raynor's eyes narrowed and he wanted to walk over there and deliver a tongue thrashing to the impertinent youth for treating his pack members as such when he heard Stone speak to her in a calming voice. He nodded his approval, judging it best that she had addressed the situation instead of him.
Raynor was an impatient wolf, but fiercely protective of his friends and loved ones, and he noticed he was the only male at the meeting. Odd, where's Kainashi? Or Tiatsu? Or even Phoenix's pup, Calyx? He wondered, and glanced at the unknown wolf. His anger dimmed a little: She was new, and every wolf had a troubled past, so maybe she was just shy, but it still irritated him, and he didn't like her. However, he huffed, resolving to stay polite, since he greatly respected the other pack members there, and would not disgrace the Alliance by being rude to her.
His golden eyes lit on every wolf present, and he smiled warmly and nodded respectfully, still listening to Stone talk. He nodded at the new wolf, but remained neutral, glancing at her in a "You're lucky Stone dealt with you and not me..." way. Sure, she might be shy or hurt, but it didn't give her a right to be mean or arrogant to wolves who were all just trying to be friendly. He padded over to sit beside Faye, licking her cheek in a more-than-friends way.
He listened happily to Stone talk, nodding his approval when she mentioned the rank changes: They were all good candidates, in his opinion. When Phoenix's name came up, Ray's brow furrowed: He didn't know where she was, and had barely seen her all summer. He glanced around at Faye, Evelyn and Cyra, wondering if they knew. He picked up a Jackaloppe with his teeth and lay down to refresh himself, famished with a day's work. When Stone finished, he looked up, licking his pearly white teeth: " Well, I just want to say congratulations to all the wolves who got promoted, you made good decisions Stone, and thanks for the food, I appreciate it. And a festival sounds fun to me." Raynor spoke up in his low voice, glancing around to see how the others reacted.
He hadn't really know Magispar much, so his loyalty lay with Stone. The Cael knew that the Alliance was an equal pack, but he still saw Stone as their leader.
He noticed the others weren't eating, but he wasn't being impolite, just hungry. [/scrolly]

Keinvarii or something like that. Yeah, Keinvarii. Sky was good at remembering names, especially ones of those who he had actually spoken to. He had just returned from a hunt and was feeling quite weary, after chasing jackalopes around. But, the hard work had paid off because he managed to catch three, which was good as he had been feeling a bit lethargic for the past few days.
Sky trotted slowly towards the small group of wolves gathered together. 'Hmmm...' he thought, Phoenix is not here... I haven't seen her for a few days now....' Then he quickly thought, 'Right.. She is happy with a mate and pups. No more fooling around. Get your facts right.' Ever since he found out that Phoenix had pups with her new mate, he had been a little down.
He sat down among the pack members just in time to hear one of them finish snapping at Stone, the nickname which they gave the leader.
"Stone, Cyra, Nova, " he greeted the ones he knew. The rest were familiar but he never got to know their names, so he smiled at them instead. "My.. What did i miss? First meeting and someone's snappy already? Now, we should all get along. Remember we are all friends here," he said dreamily.
He swished his tail about merrily and tried to guess the names of the wolves he didn't know in his mind.
OOC: Sorry i'm late. I just saw the post. Hope it's not too late, though

He was carried by lifeless steps towards the source of the howl. He remembered nothing, absolutely nothing. It was as if his life was nothing, almost as if he had never existed. So many things seemed familiar but he could not quite grasp hold of the memories. Biting down on his tongue he carried on walking. He was not tired, nor hungry as his memories served him far enough to keep him alive but from there onwards there was nothing. He felt like he was floating in nothingness, all the colours seemed dimmed. It just wasn’t right.
He stopped in his tracks and sat down, studying the wolves up ahead. Their scent had wafted towards him on the calm summer breeze. Despite his emptiness it was a good day, a peaceful day. He almost lost himself to thoughts of the day, of its languid heat. He had a deep desire to go find a tree and sleep underneath it to avoid the afternoon sun. He looked up, studying the sky, its blueness was so deep. It took hold of him, pulling him upwards, upwards- that scent
He snapped back to reality, back to the group of wolves ahead of him. Whether they had noticed his presence of not he had no desire to find out. He breathed in deeply, the scent that had caught his attention filling his nostrils. It swirled withing his mind, filling the space that was so empty with its warmth.
He stood up and walked towards the crowd, his face as emotionless as ever. His eyes gazed lifelessly over the crowd and he sat down. He was close enough to hear their speech, close enough to gain their attention, close enough to smell the scent. The scent once more swirled in his mind, it dripped through him liked honey. It was sweet and controlling, like a drug. It was all that he remembered and he could not help but savour it. It was all he had to hold on to. For all he knew it could be the last thing he knew.
The bump on his head was barely noticeable as were the faint lines that the blood had made as it had trickled down his face. He had hurt his head somehow, and just like everything else he could not remember how. He remembered waking up in a dim place and as he had walked, following his scent back the way he had come, his mind began to turn on. He only remembered the walking, hunting and sleeping he had done the past few days. He remembered his own scent and he remembered how The Scent had caught him. The howl had lured him and The Scent had caught him.
He smiled slightly, trying to appear as if he was glad for the other wolves, but his eyes were still empty. He racked himself and his mind, trying to remember something, anything.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i53.tinypic.com/3h8qw.gif] She wanted to snap angrily at Nova for being so rude to their packmates, but seemingly Keinvarii beat her to it. The Lumen closed her mouth, but only cast the dark colored Lupus a glare from where she sat beside her with her piercing crimson eyes. It was rather obvious in those moments that the female was not in a good mood at all. She just wanted her mate so desperately. She missed him greatly, not having seen him in days, weeks even. The need for him was strong, and the bond she shared with him was stronger still. She just hoped he had not gone off and gotten himself hurt. Whether he had hurt himself or someone else had hurt him, she cared not. She'd be hurting someone if he arrived in pain either way. She loved her mate, and the last thing she wanted was for him to be harmed.
Evelyn froze, becoming completely tense when a scent washed over her. The others all vanished completely from her mind, from her sight, and all she could focus on was that scent. Her fur prickled, hairs standing up one by one until she seemed to have a full bushel upon her back and neck. Her eyes had widened in disbelief and, it took a moment, though her tail began wagging excessively. It scattered the sand about as she leaped to her feet and whirled around, ears flat as she searched for the source of the scent. Not too far off was a Lumen she recognized, the one with the white fur and blue accents. Her heart sped up greatly and her tail wouldn't stop moving. She just could not believe it was him, that he was here, with them. However, something seemed off, but that didn't stop her.
The old girl jumped over Nova and weaved around her packmates at full speed to reach him. She hadn't heard a word that Keinvarii had said. Her attention was more focused on Kainashi at the moment, a wide grin split about on her maw to show her pure joy for seeing him. She barreled into him, hopefully pushing him onto his back, and proceeded to stand over him. She licked his face with joy and utter happiness. She did not notice the blank look in his eyes, nor the lump on his head and the blood in his fur. She was much too happy to see him at the moment to notice those things. It was rather obvious she had been deprived of her mate for too long. "Shonen!" She still called him Shonen rather than Kainashi in front of others, wishing to not embarrass him. "Shonen, you're all right! I missed so much!"

Cyra was in a particularly good mood today. She Watched Faye trot in to the pack meeting and opened her mouth to say hello, “Hello Faye!” she called. As like most of the other pack members, she didn't know Faye too well, but of course, they had met on occasion. She stayed standing in a spot close to the group but not in anyone’s space, and listened as Evelyn Stated her opinion on the river. Not long after, the new wolf spoke up stating her name, and snapping at the pack rather rudely. Cyra really was in a good mood today but despite her reputation for being a happy, nice wolf in general, she hated when frinds weren’t treated well, and if caught in the right moment, she had an uncharacteristically foul side to her. She snapped her head around and shot the lupus a glowering look, pulling up the corners of her mouth into a sneer. She was about to open her mouth to say something, but other beat her to it, and she didn't want to come down too hard on her or make her feel unwelcome. She turned her head back, calmed herself down and put the thoughts of vines crawling up the lupus out of her head.
She walked over closer to Faye, and saw yet another new wolf trotting into the meeting, followed soon after by Sky. Sky greeted her and return Cyra said, “Hey Sky, nice to see you again.” A smile spread across her face as she did so, with no sign of ever having being upset. She then introduced herself to the other new member she hadn’t met. “Hello, my name is Cyra. I don't believe we have met before. Are you new? If so, welcome to the Phillia Alliance.” She said.
Before the two came in, Keinvarii had addressed some matter regarding the river and holding a festival. Cyra had also heard her mention Cyra’s new responsibility and yet another smile, spread across her face. She nodded and Keinvarii as to say thank you, I won’t let you down. When Phoenix was mentioned, Cyra could see some concern showing in Keinvarii’s eyes, and when she looked to Cyra as if to ask if Cyra knew where Phoenix was, She lightly shook her head, not to draw any attention. However, her smile had now vanished. She couldn’t help to start to worry about her absence. Earlier on Cyra had realized Phoenix wasn’t at the meeting, nor had she seen her around for a while. But then again Phoenix did have some pups and it would be reasonable to assume she was caring for them.
When Cyra was done her introductions, and had taken into account what Evelyn said before, Cyra spoke up herself. “I do believe I agree with the ban being lifted. Though it is out of respect that we not bathe in the water, as Evelyn said, during these times of heat, I think it would be smart for the ban to be lifted. But, then again, out of respect maybe it could be put back on in the cooler times when it is not necessary?” Cyra thought this was a smart compromise, but wanted to see what the others thought too. “And as for the festival, I couldn’t agree more!”
She finished saying her thoughts, and realized that Evelyn was now bounding towards another lumen. Her mate? Most likely. She watched the happy scene as they reunited, and lay down, looking up into the sky.
