a l i c e . f o y e r Young Alice Foyer had begun doubting herself by now. Throughout her travels from Yuliterra Prairie she'd headed for the southern ways, passing swaps, marshes, stick grounds, however the two year old had managed her way without getting a single drop of water on her perfectly groomed, champagne coat. Now the dewy morning swept around her, mist lingering in the air, damaging her sight. It was getting harder to see as the morning arose and the cloudy air thickened, and again she'd seemed to end up in a territory completely foreign to her knowledge. The female wasn't even sure if she'd entered pack territory or not -- there seemed to be a lot around her travels. Hoping that there weren't any dangers lurking behind the nearly bare trees and yellowing grasses, the fae moved slowly and cautiously, taking precautions with every step.
Though the doggy, boggy land was odd and somewhat frightening. Alice now had the utmost feeling that she wasn't alone here. In fact, excitement was sparking in her heart. As her thin, but long legs (however she was still small for a wolf) carried her slowly, her tail raised high, pointing at the heaves, her ears twitching, garnet eyes flicking and every sound around her it was feeling more like ... home. The last thing she'd expected was the be all comfy and happy with a wet territory. But even if she wanted to turn back there was no way even with her excellent scenes and constantly mapping mind would she get back on the exact way she'd come.
Her hips seemed to sway in motion, but abruptly stopped when as a flash of a tiny gray figure rush -- more like jumped past in front of her. The youngster eyes widened at the daring pass of the mysterious creature and she fluttered her long lashes trying to get a better view of the passage the small fauna had hopped upon. Turning swiftly in a 90 degrees to her right Alice lowered her tail, also giving a stoop to her entire body making herself seem even smaller. Whether the being had stopped because it realized the wolf's approach and tried as it might to dissolve or because it got lost, Alice did not know, but what she did know was that she had no intentions to harm the creature, all she wanted was some company for even a second. Crouching even lower, her belly inches from the ground, the duo-toned female edged her way closer to the rabbit-like figure. Then her eye sight cleared. A jackalope! The reaction to the identification of the creature sent Alice up in a sitting position, feeling proud of her discovery. Not that it was a big think to identify a jackalope, it was hardly a thing to be proud of, but where Alice used to live with her adoptive mother, Iris, there were hardly any little creature like these. Unfortunately her sudden uprising scarred the antlered creature that hopped away with a terrified squeak. Huffing to herself in disappointment the wolf looked around her surroundings. A couple of distant bubbling sounds came from the bog not far from her right side, making her feel more afraid then excited. Lifting her rump from the grass the Foyer let out a soft, musical howl, in case anyone was here. It was terrible to be alone in an area you did not know and the female had no intentions of getting even more lost.

The eremus took wide and broad steps, perfectly balanced and well adapted to the swamp, her second eyelids proving useful for navigating in the bog. Her white fur was sparkling with bits of dew from a midday swim in the lake nearby. She shook her pelt once more before hearing a sing song howl in the air.
Nepara's ears perked up as she made her way towards what appeared to be a very beautifully colored Lupus. The eremus had yet to meet a cael yet, or at least, to her knowledge. So she expected another elemental user like leo. She had no other visible limbs or features that told the jester otherwise, so she quickly approached the other female. The familiar smell of multiple lands greeted her nose, the common smell of a loner. Instead of approaching with anger and scrutiny like most alpha's should. She gave the newcomer respect for choosing to come to her lands, even if she had already crossed the pack's borders.
The cael had made her call to signal her approach, so no harm was done. Nepara took confident strides only inches from the other wolf, her ears and tail high. She had to make sure the other wolf could see her, she might not have as good of eyesight as the eremus did. "Welcome, loner. You have a proposition for the Nyx? I suspect nothing less with such a call on my lands..." a coy smile playing across the white wolf's features as she sat now in front of the other wolf.
"I am Nepara, jester of flexibility of the Sono Nyx, the pack that resides here.. call me as you wish." she formally introduced herself to the other wolf, watching curiously now for how the other female may react.

a l i c e . f o y e r The female didn't have to wait long; perhaps it wasn't even a full minute when a smaller gorgeous white coated wolf appeared. Alice's eyes flicked, watching the stranger eagerly. She appeared with her tail and ears held high, and striking sapphire-like eyes tinted with magenta staring back, her paws however ended in hooves -- the obvious trait of an eremus. The cael had a slightly tough time with keeping her mouth closed. She'd never seen an eremus in person, her mother had only explained how they look a couple of times, and meeting one was quite a something in her life. The dominant posture of the other female made Alice pull her tail to the side her leg, though not under her belly, and lower her head to indicate that she also meant no harm. The way the other female was smiling while she sat down opposite of her made the two year old mirror her exactly; taking a seat in the grass while curling her tail around her rump and pulling a shy smile on her face. While Alice remained silent the white one continued, introducing herself to be Nepara, Jester of Flexibility of the Sono Nyx. Oh, wonderful! The younger wolf thought, she had walked right into pack lands.
Guessing that it was now her time to introduce herself, Alice cleared her throat and began, "Hi, my name is Alice Foyer. You have a lovely place for a pack," her voice was sweet, though the Jester may have picked up the nervous tones, "I'm sorry to trespass like this ... however I am looking for a home. Would you be so kind and share something about your pack with me?" As much as she tried to be more formal and mature, it was hard for a girl who hasn't met many wolves in her long travels. Alice began to wonder how long the pack had resided here and how many member it had. She had found that at least two packs resided not far from the territory of the prairie on her ways, but she had been too afraid to enter their territory. While she sat there, waiting for the response, she surveyed Nepara, trying to figure out if she was in her 'like' book yet. Alice certainly liked being around this female, her air was cheerful, at least happier than the white keiyou's, Draugur's, had been. Keeping the smile pasted on her face Alice twitched her ears eagerly to hear what the alpha would say next.

This is just what her pack needed, hopefully these new members pouring in would help maintain the balance and keep the pack alive until she could really show them what being in the nyx was all about.
"Why certainly.. are motto is to celebrate the night. We live freely by day and party by night. When someone joins the Sono Nyx, they are given the rank 'sonogate' to mark their relationship with the pack. If they can unlock a hidden talent inside themselves, then their rank will relfect that. Are system is based mostly on fame and good fortune. If you are looking for a group of wolves that call that a true home. Then you are in the right place Alice." the eremus mused, her tail wagging slowly back and forth as her ears drooped slightly.
Nepara could tell the other wolf lacked experience, but so did she. So the white female was glad she wasnt the only one trying to make an impression. Nepara could only hope she would get used to the leadership role sooner than later. She smiled brightly and took a seat across from the newcomer. Hoping she would want to join them and help them expand the pack's horizons.

a l i c e . f o y e r The eremus seemed eager to speak about her pack, which was nice, she always liked happy wolves. Alice had always thought that most alpha's where strict and somewhat demanding when one would trespass on their territory, but it didn't exactly seem to be the reason here. Her ears pricked up when she heard 'we live freely by day and party by night,' it surly looked like a carefree and fun pack. Could this be really her pack? The one that would be the best? The perfect pack?
The already bubbling excitement was hard to contain by now, though when the queen reached the hidden talent point, Alice began to ponder. She wasn't sure she really had a hidden talent. At least none that she knew of. Sure, she had talents, but they were small, and certainly didn't make her any different from another wolf that had the same. Her tail began to brush ground gently as it wagged. If she didn't have one, she'd find it here! And anyway a pack could mean safely and guaranteed company. As much as she disliked the humid, wetness it was something you could get used to. Besides if she really tried to look at the good side of that wet part then there were still tons of places to hide if it rained.
The bright smile that shone from Nepara made her smile again before she replied, "I- I'm not sure what my hidden talent is yet. But your pack seems wonderful ... even if I don't particularly like the rather wet air, I could get used to it," she admit, honestly. It was better if the eremus knew something about her before she joined, and Alice thought that her fright of rain and water was something to be mentioned, "I think I'd like to join you all," the choice wasn't something she had to think much about. It was a straight forward answer, one that she knew would benefit. The joining and settling down here in the marsh had more ups than downs anyway.
