Lupa gave a shriek of anger when she felt something cold on her nose. "Argh! Don't lick me, you idiot!" Her angry expression quickly changed to a crazy grin when she heard the dull thunk that meant her paw had hit it's mark. She was even more happy when she saw the albino was flipped on to his back. She shrugged at his first comment, he had interpreted it wrong, but let him be in denial. She flicked her tail in anger when he swatted her chin, so she put her two front paws on his chest in an attempt to pin him down. He was a small keiyou, but he was still larger then her, and he could easily stand up and flip her over.
She growled, then lifted one paw to bat at his head. She was off balance, and it would only be to easy to tip her over. She snarled, but at the same time she was grinning like crazy inside. Oh, how good it felt to paw at him, snarl at him. "Yes, I am determined." Truth to be told, she was a very determined wolf. When she started something, she finished it. Like beating the stupid idiot on the ground right now.
She reared up and then tried to slam her paws back into his body. Seeing as she was so small, the impact would only shock the keiyou. However, her paws hit the side of his body and slid off, sending her toppling to the ground. She was now in his position, and she bared her teeth at him. She stayed on the ground however, but if he would make one move, she would be back on her feet and fighting him again. She lay on her back, watching him, her eyes narrowed at the albino. "And why are you still here, anyway?" She was actually curious, and she wasn't sure if she would prefer him gone, no matter what she had said to him.
She waved her back legs slightly, if he came closer he would get her claws in his legs. She growled at him again, once more trying to remind herself why she was still her. If she had his wings, she would be gone. Sadly, the wings were firmly connected to his body, though Lupa allowed herself to picture a vivid fantasy were she ripped each of his wings off.

[scrolly:h(412), w(340),sy] The world was upside down and so was she. Draugur gazed upwards at her angry face and the sight made his day. He smiled a scornful grin, now nothing she could do will change his mind. Unless it was something quite extreme which he thought was unlikely since she didn't look very... dangerous. He raised one of his brows when the two paws of the female were placed on his chest. Didn't she know he could easily push her off? But he stayed there, happy to take any beating as they were nothing compare to his smart-arsed remarks. She growled once again (and Draugur rolled his eyes in response; she tend to make a lot noises) before swatting his head with a paw.
He snorted scornfully before trying to push her off with his own front legs but she reared. He snickered when she slammed at his side only to be slid off him, falling towards the ground close to him. "Tired of beating me up yet?" He wiggled his body a bit to get his wings in a more comfortable position than just scrunched up beneath him. He could tell that this fight wasn't over yet and she probably was just thinking up more plans to finish him off for once and all. Unlikely again. He was a small wolf but she was smaller so it would be easy for him to overpower her but he decided against it. He refused to admit it, even to himself, but he was terrified of overpowering females, physically lest he... it happened again.
He did not know what would happen if he decided to get all... physical with her. Maybe he would have some control, or maybe all of his raw instinct would overwhelm him. Draugur was silent for a few moments after the question was asked by the white and purple wolf. "Why are you here?" He scoffed; "After all, if my memory serves me correctly, I was here first." He flattened his ears as best as he could while being on his back when she growled again. "Is it necessary for you to growl every few seconds?" He wrinkled his muzzle; "My ears don't like it." He rolled onto his belly and, feeling like winding her up again, he leapt to his paws and trotted towards the lupus. Being aware of her twitching legs as her defensive weapons, he walked up to her head end and prodded it softly. If he was right, this wolf did not like him touching her, even on the head and this would be a great way to rile her up again.

Lupa moved her head, trying to see where he was, her purple eyes trying to see what the fool was up to now. She snorted, still lying on her back. "Tired of beating you up? Never." She had a crooked grin on her maw, though she was telling the truth. She could spar with this male till the world ended. It was so much fun to anger him. Though he was the one doing most of the angering. She grouchily lay her head back down on the grassy ground, contend to conserve her energy until the idiot came back again.
The keiyou could probably beat her, her lightning power and her stubbornness being her greatest weapon. She stoutly believed she would win this competition they had going. His question sent her head spinning, why was she still here? "You want honest?" She asked flatly. "Well, I think -however annoying and idiotic you are- you are.. Slightly amusing." She gave him a stern glance, her purple orbs meeting his pink.
She snorted, she had no doubt he would interpret that wrong, again. She groaned, now the male thought she liked being with him! That was not the case, and she made sure he knew that: "And that does not mean I like being here with you. It means that I was bored, and now I'm not. That is why I am still here." She was still sure he would twist her words around, but let him do what he wants, she thought. He wasn't worth her time. Though he was right he had been there first. Did that mean anything to Lupa? Of course not.
She laughed when he told her to stop growling, oh yes, he was amusing. "Now first of all, why would you ask that question when you know what I'm going to say?" She glanced over at the male, her brows raised. "Your ears better man up then." She grinned at him, then looked away. The sound of him standing up made her head whip around to where he had been, but he was already gone. A soft touch on the back of her head told him where he was. How dare he! How DARE he think he could touch her! She bared her teeth and leaped to her feet, attacking with sudden anger. She whipped her paw around, trying to dig her claws into his chest. She retreated, her face screwed up in anger. "You. Complete. IDIOT!" She howled, her coat sending off little sparks. This male was not allowed to touch her in any way, and he should have known that by now.
She sat down, both eyes glued on him, as though afraid to look away. She took deep breaths, trying to calm herself. She once again imagined trying off his pretty wings. She stared at them with a longing, she could almost hear him screaming in pain. She sighed in satisfaction, what a lovely day dream. The chances of it happening were so slim they were almost non-existent. And after her little spaz out moment, she doubted he would let her anywhere near him. It was sad that those nice wings would go to waste, the idiot didn't deserve such nice things. She glared at him, her chest rising heavily from her spaz out.
OOC: Hilarious! :3

LOST POST I modified this post to copy the table coding but got all confused and wrote up my next post in this post, so therefore I lost everything I wrote while writing my new post x.x -whacks herself- In this post, Draugur basically got all upset that Lupa's outburst reminded him of Siren, his mate. His mood changed and stalked away to the other tree stating that the challenge was silly and if the lupus was happy that she had won.

Lupa's eyes widened in surprise as the male, well, freaked out. After all this, she was shocked to see him lose his cool so quickly. She watched his lashing tail, her eyebrows rising with every flap of his wings. She wondered what had caused him to be like this. He had not hurt her or touched her wrongly, she was just touchy. She didn't like being around others, she had stayed because she was bored. She wasn't completely sure why she freaked out that much. She guessed she didn't like it because he was so cool, so calm. She had wanted to do something that really would make him lose it. She had, but she was surprised it was that explosive.
Her head snapped up, what had he just said to her? "An intense fear of males? Seriously? Of course not. If I had a fear of males, why would I have stayed here?" She looked at him quizzically, her gaze steady. She had seen the way he looked at her, like she was doing something weird. "What did I do? I was just imagining tearing your wings off..." At first he would probably think she was joking, but the look on her face was dead serious. Lupa was shocked, it seemed as though he was afraid of her, though it couldn't be the case.
He was almost ten inches taller then her, and he could fly away at any moment. She peered curiously at him, but he walked away. His question seemed to break her out of a trance, and once again, she decided to go with an honest answer. "Not really." She smirked, but she walked half way over to him, then sat down. "No, I'm not happy." She had been on her guard before, but now all her defense was dropped, curiosity overwhelming her. She wanted to know who he was, and it seemed like a reasonable question, but she was worried about another freaky reaction.
"What was wrong with you?" She fully expected him to not answer her, but she waited anyway. She frowned at him, a brooding look on her silver face. She was completely oblivious to feelings, and she often was seen as nosy and rude. She raised her eyebrow, waiting for the male to answer her.

[scrolly:h(412), w(340),sy] He knew his sudden outburst after Sparky's own would surprise, if not shock, her. Draugur had never intended it to be this big, if at all. He felt like beating himself up, like dropping himself off a cliff. Now he knew the lupus would want to know what had provoked him and he was on the brink of pouring everything, from the raping of his mate to the neglect of his daughter. He knew it would take just a word to spill everything so he decided to say nothing about the reason of his sharp reaction. If she was a totally stranger, had no connections to any wolves of this land and he would never see her again then he probably would admit his own sins but there were no guarantees so he decided to shut his jaws. After all Sparky could be a Children wolf (even though there was no scent of the pack on he pelt. But then she might have joined only recently) or any of other packs allied with them. If she happened to repeat everything he mentioned Draugur would be left open with his weaknesses exposed and receive unpleasant treatments from others. He was old and barred from his home already and he didn't want to provoke his situation further.
He twitched his ears in a mild surprise. No? She wasn't happy? Well, perhaps she wasn't as determined or sharp as he'd expected her to be. Maybe there was a caring side to her rough edges. But her smirk told her that her caring side must be quite tiny in comparison. But no matter whatever she felt about him, whatever she felt about throwing the challenge out of the window he was grateful with her honest answer. He knew from their short moments together it was unlikely for this Sparky to lie. She was quite straightforward, sometimes too much for her own good but he valued this even though he preferred lying than being honest. Honesty requires courage and no matter how awful the truth could be it is always valued. This was a big thought coming from an efficient liar. But despite admiring Sparky's honesty Draugur knew he would remain a liar and his next word proved this: "Nothing."
Now to throw this lupus off her scent, he snickered; "Actually, nothing. You admitted that you don't care about winning that much." He walked to the wolf and sat in front of her but with a care not to touch even her single hair. "But I do." Draugur chuckled cockily with his wings stretched half open, giving him a powerful majestic aura. On his face there was an arrogant smirk but deep on the inside he was feeling like strangling himself for keeping the heavy guilt on his shoulders instead of unloading them. [/scrolly]

Lupa shook her head as though the keiyou had failed some sort of test. If she had been another wolf and had only just found the keiyou, she would have believed what he had said. But she had seen his outburst, and she continued to pry. "Nothing? You expect me to believe that?" She snorted, then waited eagerly. Some would say she was nosy, and they were absolutely right. Lupa was as nosy as they came, and she wanted to hear the real answer, though the chances of getting one was getting slimmer and slimmer by the second. "Alright, don't tell me," she said coldly, though inside she was disappointed the male did not tell her the truth. Honesty was a big thing in Lupa's world, she was almost always completely honest. It was easy for her to be honest, for she was painfully blunt, and didn't care what others thought of her.
She watched, unfazed, as the keiyou came closer, and spread his wings. Lupa grinned dreamily, thinking vaguely that whenever she met a keiyou she would have the same fantasy again and again. She raised her eye brows at the keiyou, and grumbled: "Oh, and you called me a show-off.." She shot the keiyou a dark glance, then looked away haughtily. She had the same annoying smirk on her maw as she replied to his cocky comment. "Yeah, I noticed." She said it sarcastically, a funny look on her face. On his handsome-yet-sickly-arrogant face she thought she saw something deeper, hidden behind his good looks and stupid cocky look. She knew he was handsome looking, but she had no attraction to the albino keiyou.
She flicked her tail in boredom, then made a tiny ring of purple sparks to dance around in a circle. To her it was on eye level, but it was more on neck level for the larger keiyou. She rolled her eyes; size had nothing to do with anything. She hated being so tiny, she had not met a lupus that was smaller then her. She gave a huffy noise, for the moment forgetting the male was there. However she looked up and saw him, then looked back at her sparks. "You're still here, huh? Determined to stay here until I go crazy?" She dropped her concentration, and the sparks disappeared. She made some some inaudible grumbling noises, then sighed in a resigned way.
"Who are you anyway? I'm Lupa." She no longer cared if the male knew her name or not, she was hoping that he would tell her his name. She wondered why he hadn't given it to her before. Was he a murderer? The thought intrigued her, but did not frighten her. She had killed wolves before, though she had stopped the habit. She tried to think up more reasons why he would not want her to know his name, but she came up blank. "You know, I'm going to keep asking you that until you tell me." She would refuse to give up, she was one stubborn wolf, that was for sure. She tilted her head questioningly, waiting for the male's answer. She tapped her tail impatiently, another bad trait of hers. She ignored that, however, and focused on the wolf in front of her.

[scrolly:h(412), w(340),sy] He shifted his paws a little, uncomfortable with the situation when he realised that Sparky hadn't believed him. She was damn nosy but he guessed she meant well. The moment stretched until when she made a disappointed exclaim. It really shouldn't have affected him with the protective casing he had made but it did. She was the first and the only wolf in this lands to notice that there was something bothering him and she was a stranger. He guessed that his scene helped her to realise a little more. But Reynard knew him for years and he was Skyler's father yet neither of them noticed his affliction when Draugur barged into the meeting. But this lupus did. For this he felt a little grateful towards her but he still would not admit to anything. He would just keep lying: "Fine, think whatever you want." He gave a bark of a scornful laughter at Sparky as if she was thinking about something silly.
Draugur saw her face, that there was a some kind of dreamy look on it. He sighed, and guessed she was fascinating about his torn wings; she admitted to this prior his outburst. "Will you stop doing that." He wrinkled his nose, "I don't want you to fascinate about me." A suggestive look was on his face with a hint of an amused smile. He didn't want this meeting to lead to something more surprising (that look might indicate otherwise for Sparky), he only wanted to forget his troubles and act as if the two wolves' explosions hadn't happened. He just wanted to have some fun (if it was possible since he was emotionally tired) to make it up for it before he left. If he left. The way Draugur behaved earlier had left some awkward feeling between him and Sparky and he didn't like it. It was an invisible but strong barrier in between the two wolves and it rubbed him in the wrong way. He had struggled against it, barging and clawing at it but no avail. It was draining most of his energy for a such long time and it was starting again. He knew soon any action he made would start to come off as forced.
A swirl of electricity made by her tail popped in the air and Draugur watched it quietly. He wanted to make a retort such as "Show off? Look at who's speaking," or something like that but the barrier exhausted him out emotionally. Instead he just smiled at the sight and this change frightened him. "Lovely." He snorted briefly and nodded his head, almost sarcastically. He did that quickly, to cover up how worn out he was feeling. His burden and age weren't helping. To Sparky's comment, he chuckled: "Yeah, something like that." Then shrugging; "But that's what I do." He smiled a wry smile, as if pitying this wolf for his presence. He felt that the fun they had before had dissolved like a dew in a hot day. He suspected it wasn't just for him, but for this silver lupus too. The electricity circle proved that. He blew a bit and set himself carefully down on the ground into a rested lying down position, just at the paws of the lupus.
Lupa? He knew this question would come sooner or later. Though he preferred later. "Lupa? I prefer Sparky." He moved his head to look down at his paws and when he heard the second determined statement he laughed. "I wouldn't expect otherwise." Then he was silent for a few moments as he started to muse on the question before the tapping of her tail distracted him: "And shh." Draugur's eyes moved from Sparky-Lupa's face to tail and back again impatiently. Now it would be just plainly rude if he didn't introduce himself and Lupa wouldn't leave him alone until then. He was one of the two albino wolves throughout those lands and therefore was easily recognised. All it took was "an albino loner" to identify him so if Spar-- Lupa happened to mention his appearance his name would come up. Especially in the Children if she happened to be part of that pack. There wouldn't be any harm for him if he mentioned his name. He was an outcast already and having another wolf being uncomfortable around him wouldn't be a new thing. Granted, she might not know his name and his crimes but she probably would in the future. He finally resolved this matter with a tired shrug of his shoulders and an thought of: eh, what do I have to lose. It was silly to make his name a big matter, when it was unimportant. He looked up at Lupa's purple eyes and smiled charmingly; "I'm Draugur. Pleased to make an acquaintance." Soon curiosity began to flood his mind and he narrowed his eyes; "A question for you now; which pack are you part of?"

Lupa pouted and sulked silently, angry that this wolf was not telling her the truth. She shot him a dark look, then went back to pouting. She rolled her eyes about his comment, she wasn't fascinating about anyone... She calmly ignored him though, preferring to sit in a dignified silence. Or what she thought was a dignified silence. Lupa scratched at the dirt with her claws, barely caring what the kieyou was doing. 'Lovely.' Her head shot up and she stared at him suspiciously. "What did you just say?" The beginning of the word was..different then the end. The end of the word was sarcastic, but the beginning was not. She repeated herself. "What did you say?" She was now sure something was going on right beneath her nose, and she didn't know what it was. How dare this mongrel hide something from her?! She narrowed her eyes, itching to say something, but restraining herself- barely. She twitched her maw, words fighting to get out. She shut it firmly, and watched the male with a curious look. Something was going on, she was sure of it..
Once again she acted cool, hoping that the male would tell her. She leaned back on her haunches slightly, regarding the keiyou with a superior look. Lupa glared at him when she heard his reply, she had been to insanity once before, and she was never going back. She dug her claws into the ground as if someone was trying to move her, and glared at the kieyou. The comment of her name infuriated the small lupus, and sparks flew once more. "Ugh! You are the second idiot to call me that.." She whacked at him with her paw, not very hard, but if her paw hit the desired mark, her claws would prick his skin. She wasn't in the mood to fight, but she wasn't going to let the idiot butcher her name, either.
She she continued to tap her tail, but stopped when he rebuked her. "Touchy.." She grumbled, but her tail remained still. She didn't know why she was listening to this keiyou, but she was beginning to think he was a few slices short of a loaf. She smiled slightly, then tried to hide it. She ended up with a wide smirk on her maw, with the rest of her face stony. She knew that the keiyou would realize something was up, but she acted casual. She thought about how she must look, and she forced a laugh back down. She had always been critical of herself, and she doubted that was ever going to change. She raised her tail to beat it against the ground, but glanced over at the male and made a big show of lowering it, making sure he could see. She grinned at the male, then did a double take. She hadn't suspected him to tell her his name, and she had thought she would have had to force him to tell it to her, or something. "Draugur," she said flatly.
All in all, she was kind of disappointed that there wasn't another verbal battle where she finally won. She snickered at her weird thoughts, then looked back to the keiyou. "Your name is Draugur." She looked him up and down, trying to match the body with the name. Try as she might, she could not create a ridiculous nickname like he had for her. Or, rather, the yagi had created it, he used it. Sparky.. What a hideous name, she thought angrily. His question pulled her out of her thoughts, and she narrowed her eyes. What if he was in cahoots with Thanatos? Than would find her, and then her life would be over. She could not even muster a smirk about her overly-dramatic thoughts. She paled slightly, the thought of the mortui sent her into a shock. If she had been thinking logically, she would have doubted that the keiyou would be in league with Thanatos. Sadly, her mind was numb with shock and fright. She sat, almost frozen, without answering the male's question.

[scrolly:h(412), w(340),sy] He was a little taken aback when Lupa threw him an angry look. He didn't think she wanted to know that much. Perhaps she was extremely nosy by nature but to throw that look... He twitched his ears a little mixture of curiosity and uneasiness. He had known this lupus only for a hour or so so it was unlikely for her to have a hidden agenda. Was it? Of course it was incredibly unlikely. He finally assumed that she valued honesty way too much so she started to rile herself up. However, he felt he still owe her something for her... attentiveness and because he had lied to her. Sure she did see through that but it still felt... wrong somehow. Wait, did Draugur care? No, of course he didn't. He was just overly curious... Okay, he might like her because of her sharp eye and felt more relaxed around her; not having to worry too much around her.
He glanced up at Lupa from his worrisome thoughts with a frown. What? "What?" He glanced around at his surroundings before resting his pale eyes on her face again. "... I think I said: 'Lovely'..." He frowned again but this time with an uncertain realisation. Could she see that he was feeling a tad uneasy? He didn't think his mental barrier would be noticeable. Perhaps she detected the small change in him? But she looked pissed off. Again. He sighed and snickered; "You have a such temper, don't you? You should learn to manage your anger. Don't want to have your little heart to give away before it's your time." Draugur shook his head and wondered what had caused this female to be this tiny angry wolf. Perhaps her parents had a quite temper and passed it on or influenced her. Or something had happened to her sometime in her past. He shrugged and decided that he probably will not find out. Past is past for a reason.
He raised his brows with amusement. Second wolf? "Ah, I'm not as original as I previously thought." A mock disappointed sadness crept up to his handsome face. "Still it fits you better than Lupa." He smirked and felt some tiny pain in the place where she swatted him. "Ouch. Don't you understand the concept of a joke?" He wrinkled his nose at her scornfully with his eyes glittering with faint laughter. He moved into a sitting position once again now that his neck ached a little from looking up at the lupus. He could see a hint of disappointment on her face. She was expecting a more fight in him but he felt too lazy, or tired, to put up a struggle which he knew he probably would not win. At least she got what she wanted. His name. Wasn't that enough? It never was enough for her, he guessed, and it was this what made this wolf so amusing. You could have fun by giving her a titbit of information and watch her being riled up.
He exhaled through his nose heavily as he watch Lupa snickering. What now? Was she imagining him bloody and wingless or some kind of her twisted imagination? But her face, previously marred with scorn, quickly looked empty as she looked at him, searching for something. If he was right, judging from her intense concentration, she was looking for something to mock him with. Probably as a revenge for her nickname. He laughed at her nickname; now that he thought about it properly, it was quite lame but funny. The amusement glint in his eyes disappeared slowly as he noticed something concerning developing within the female. First sign was that she didn't answer his question, second was that she appeared to have paled slightly and thirdly, she had stilled.
It was fear. Lupa had been gripped by the cold claws of fear. But why? He scrambled backwards nervously. Had she caught him out? Did she recognise his name? It couldn't be. She had taken a while. But sometimes it took a while for a brain to register something. Nah, it couldn't be. His appearance was a give away and it was likely, if she had heard of him, she would know him immediately. Draugur was at the edge of panic but he struggled to calm down. Be reasonable! It must be something else. Maybe something he said reminded her of something. Pack? He had mentioned pack before this occurrence. Was her pack massacred? Or... whatever! What was important to him was to make sure that she wasn't frightened of him. With his tail wrapped around his hind leg tightly out of nervousness he spoke: "A-are you okay?" He raised his body away from the ground, standing high in case she decided to fight him off or something. Fear was a strange emotion; it could clear your mind or blind you. "You're not... frightened, are you?" He chuckled lightly but warily. He was trying to make a light of the sudden situation but was aware of her probable reactions.

Lupa sat ridged, the only sound she could hear was her heart. The sickening memory of the mortui scared her more then anything else had ever. The sound of Draugur's voice floated through her empty mind, and a small part of her that wasn't engulfed in panic told her to snap out of it. She managed, but she was panting and her face was still pale. She remembered what the male had asked her, and she replied in a snappish, angry voice: "Of course I'm okay, you idiot. And I'm not frightened!" Lupa was lying through her teeth, and she was sure Draugur would know, but she didn't really care. She shuffled backwards a bit, wanting to leave the other wolf. She hated how frozen and scared she got when she remembered Thanatos. Lupa swallowed and looked back at the keiyou, determined not to show her fear. "I am from the Children." Lupa turned her face away from Draugur. She acted as though nothing had happened, though she was watching the male out of the corner of her eye. She scratched at the dirt with a claw, not sure how to break the tension. Sparks crackled around her paws, and she looked down at them in surprise. They vanished, but the smell of ozone remained in the air. Lupa couldn't take it anymore, and she turned her head back to face Draugur. "So.. What pack are you from?" She had avoided his eyes, and was talking to his paws. She shuffled her paws, the awkwardness was still there. For some reason she felt like telling about Thanatos to someone, but she wasn't sure who. She supposed Coneiron might do, but she had barely met him. Lupa sighed, her social awkwardness coming back to her in a snap. She twitched her tail angrily, wondering if Draugur had felt the same way when he had his 'little' outburst. She felt slightly reassured by that, though she knew it wasn't much. She wondered why Draugur had been so freaked out when she was scared. He always seemed so calm and collected, and she was curious as why he had looked so weird. "Why were you so..freaked out, anyway?" She looked up at the larger wolf, a questioning look on her face.

[scrolly:h(412), w(340),sy] His ears went down slowly with each passing seconds. Also Lupa was becoming more disturbed with each seconds and the sight wasn't pleasant; her panting and how pale she appeared. Something must had terrified her so badly to cause her to be like this. He wasn't sure if he wanted to know but something inside him nagged for answers. So this must be what Lupa was feeling when she witnessed his... discomfort. The lupus scene was becoming too disturbing so when she finally broke out of this freaky behaviour quite angrily Draugur was so relieved. He was even glad to hear the angry tone in her voice.
The keiyou smirked at her snappy response but the smirk was a tad uncertain. "Good I...I didn't think so." He narrowed his eyes slightly but suspiciously. She was obviously lying. It was so painfully obvious. No one would just have that episode and say it was nothing. He raised his head slowly. It applied to him as well. But Lupa's fibbing was worse as she appeared value honesty heavily and had gone off into a sulk whenever he lied to her. At least Draugur wasn't a hypocrite. That little part inside him that scrabbled for answers was growing and he involuntarily gaped his mouth open but snapped it shut. It would be unfair if he to ask when he refused to answer her question. But... he was sorely tempted to ask. Both of the wolves had shown their weaknesses and shown that they both had some secrets. What they did not know was that Draugur was a predator in his secret and Lupa a prey in hers.
He pushed his triangular ears forwards as he saw Lupa retreating a little. Another action that told him that she was lying. She was ashamed of her fear and wanted to leave the only witness. It was clear in her movements but what puzzled him was why she was still here. Perhaps her determination not to show her fear or didn't want him to think lowly of her. Or both. Or she didn't want to leave him. Draugur chuckled to himself at the latter possibility but his chuckle was humourless. He didn't feel amused anymore, unfortunately and that made him appear a little broody.
Oh, the Children? He snorted. The Children? Out of all of the packs, she was a part of the Children? Just his luck. His eyelids lowered into a questioning look; Lupa had turned her face away from him. She was definitely ashamed. Not of the pack, of course, but of her episode. The air was thickening with tension. After a moment of awkward silence the atmosphere was so thick that he could rake through it like he could with a rotted apple. He opened his mouth to break the suffocating silence when Lupa spoke up. He smiled wryly at her question. Now that... that was a hard one. He... was not a part of the pack that was true but he viewed himself as a Children member. More specifically, the leader of the Children. "Ah. Now that is a quite question." He paused, thinking how to say it properly; "I... Well you could technically say that I was of the Children but I hadn't left that pack yet." But I was banished. He mused to himself silently. "So... I think you could say I'm still a part of the Children." Hell, I began that pack! He pursed his lips and refused to answer to Lupa's second question. It wasn't her business, was it?
His tail swished behind him as the nagging curiosity was on the brink of bursting out of him. Draugur stared at Lupa for a long while as he reached for conclusion. The idea brightened his mind up when it arrived in his head. "Right! Another question and a deal, eh? We're unlikely to meet again, correct?" He nodded and went on without waiting for the lupus's answer. "It's painfully clear that we're being bothered by something and need to spill that... something to someone." He narrowed his salmon-pink eyes, so sure that the wolf would know where he was going with this."You're curious and I'm curious. You tell me and I tell you then we're done and can leave it at that that." He tossed his head haughtily; "Only if we swear we don't meet again." He smirked but his insides were swirling madly at the thought of his guilt being unloaded. Perhaps she would accept his request or would laugh it off. But he didn't care, as he had given Lupa a choice to calm herself down and admit everything. Him too. If he was being honest, his request seemed silly but it... kind of made sense too. They were strangers and, as Draugur had repeated, it was unlikely for them to meet up again (only if they swear and were being careful) it would be hard for them to judge each other if they didn't know each other well. It seemed to be the only solution for him that he could think of.

Lupa shuffled her paws, she had never been a good liar, and this was just another embarrassing and painful example. She turned away from Draugur, apparently fascinated with a nearby bush. She twitched her tail in embarrassment at Draugur's words, he was lying to her, and she knew it. He had thought she had been afraid, and she had been. She ground her teeth, like she would ever admit that! She rolled her eyes slightly, trying to act casual, but once again, failing horribly. She was an okay actor, at least when she wasn't so panicked. But the memory of Than had left her shaking, and it showed clearly. She scowled at the ground, her eyes narrowing. To a passerby it would look like the surrounding foliage had insulted her in some way, but she was really cursing her bad luck.
Lupa glanced at the keiyou, and was furious to see his mouth was open. She was going to smack it shut for him, but he shut it just in time. She wasn't in the mood to answer questions, and anyone who asked her them would be in for a painful disappointment. She glared at Draugur as if to silently convey that message. Lupa tapped her long claws on the ground, the silence was simply killing her. She twitched at small noises, obviously uncomfortable. Sparks flickered alongside her claws as she tapped, and she looked down at them in surprise. They vanished, but Lupa was now uneasy and annoyed. She was seven, for god sakes, by now she should have her power in control almost perfectly, if not perfectly. She growled slightly, more at herself then Draugur. Draugur... The name rang a far off, distant, and broken bell. She looked at the male, hoping for a hint of his identity. He had given her his name, but she felt as though a piece of the puzzle was missing. Draugur.. She gave up after a minute, for she could not put her paw on what was missing.
Once again the silence was killing her, and she hummed softly, just to fill it up. After a second she stopped, though, for Draugur was speaking. Children? Children?! God dammit, did he mean that he was her.. Her.. Pack mate?! She could put up with him for a day, maybe two or three, but a lifetime? She felt faint. She frowned at Draugur, she had not seen him around, though granted she hadn't been there long. He faintly smelt of the Children, though it was cloaked with scents of other, farther off places. He did have wings, so she imagined he had to stretch them often, but she didn't understand why he barely smelt of the Children. She gave him a questioning look, but then decided to drop it. This male and his secrecy.. It was torture for the nosy, impatient, and curious female. She cleared her throat, as though telling him that he had only answered on of her questions. Lupa had been so caught up in his first comment that at first she hadn't noticed that he had only answered one of her questions.
She sighed, it was clear that Draugur would not be answering that question today. Once again she felt as though she was missing a small piece, and if she just had that one piece she could step back and look at the whole picture, and finally understand. The answer was tantalizingly close, and Lupa looked around as though it would drop from the sky. She hated how Draugur played his game; give her a tidbit of information, then watch her go crazy trying to find more. She smirked, some of her cockiness returned, and said, "You and your secrecy, huh?" She laughed slightly, though inside she was rabid for the last little piece of Draugur's puzzle. Suddenly her ears pricked up, it looked as though that piece was about to be handed to her on a silver platter. His offer was tempting, she did need to let her secret out, though she was not sure this was the right wolf to tell. He might hear her out then fly away, or something.
Lupa sighed, it was pointless to argue with herself when her mind was made up. "And you want me to trust you?" She shook her head, but inwardly she was scolding herself. Her mind was made up, and that was that. "Alright, then, Draugur. You've convinced me.." Lupa sighed, wondering how to tell him her 'something', as he put it. "I swear that I will do everything in my power to make sure we don't meet again." She smirked, and then said, "But, you know, even if you didn't want me to swear that, I would do it anyway." She smiled at herself, then tapped her tail on the ground, forgetting that Draugur did not like it when she did it. She felt as though she would explode. Was she actually going to tell him? Draugur, a complete stranger? She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, calming herself. "Alright.. Well, I was in the swamp, and, well.." Her voice trailed off, and she furrowed her brow, trying to think of a way to tell Draugur the truth. She was determined not to lie, no matter how painful it might be. "I met a.. A mortui named Thanatos." Her voice cracked as she said his name, and she shivered slightly, though it was warm. "And, well, he.. said he needed to carry on his line." Lupa said the last part very fast, so Draugur would be lucky if he caught it.
Lupa opened her eyes, waiting to see Draugur's reaction. There was no need to say any more, if he was at least slightly intelligent, he would understand what she meant.

Silence could be a blessing, but in this case it was painfully awkward. Neither of the two wolves knew what to say to shatter the suffocating quietness. Draugur looked up at Lupa, his concern obvious in his eyes as she glared at a random bush angrily. It was a sudden and unexpected change for this lightning lupus; at the beginning she was rash, blunt and enjoyed sparring with words with him but now she was more withdrawn and terrified. A such transformation unnerved him, and he assumed it was just the same for Lupa when Draugur reacted explosively before. He raised a brow at her attempt to brush the fact that she was afraid off. He had thought this female was stronger but obviously he was plainly wrong. Was all that sharp tongued antics just a façade? It would seem so. He snorted; his views on females weren't wrong. They all were pathetic weaklings who cover themselves with a prickly shell. But he wouldn't think this if he knew the real reason behind her fear.
He peered up at her and smiled a faint smile when he saw her annoyance at his pack answer. Didn't she get that he wasn't part of the pack? He had mentioned that but... Should he also mention that he was banished? Yes, but he didn't want to say it. Saying it would confirm it and he did not want it. He did not want to confirm the fact that he had been kicked out of his own pack, and home. The memory of the Lumera Valley's picturesque scene came to his head and it almost choked him. It was extremely unfair; he was nearing the age of an elder and he had been kicked out! Reynard was of many things but he had never thought he would do this. Especially to his own High Chief. With a silent hiss he scraped the earth out with his left claw. His ears flicked as he heard a throat being cleared and he glanced at her. He knew what she wanted. She had realised that he had only answered one of her questions. He wrinkled his muzzle, this female was asking way too much questions, with some of them personal. Did she know how rude it could be? But, good for her, Draugur didn't get offended easily.
He blinked once at her laugh and comment. He didn't intend to have secrets; it just happened. He was usually an open wolf, unafraid with what to say next and enjoyed to speak his thoughts out aloud. But even he knew that there were some limitations; he couldn't just go around telling wolves that they were ugly or thick. He couldn't order the leaders of the other packs what to do (but he could put his opinions out there). Especially he couldn't tell anyone that he had did an extremely offensive crime on a female. Like he thought; there were some limitations or else he would have been killed a long time ago. Lupa, on other hand despite having a secret of her own, was rather nosy and demanding, and was apparently unaware of the restrictions on how she should behave. This could be seen as an amusement for some (Draugur for an example), however, it could be insulting to some others.
He looked at her with a steady gaze as she started to ponder on whether she should agree with his question or not. It was a horrible sight, he had to admit, to see a strong female falling for some unknown reason. Like him, he knew, she needed to talk and that was the reason he suggested this deal. He did not dare to make any movements in case it might change Lupa's mind. She was a wolf hard to predict with her stormy nature (no pun intended) and ever-changing mind. He smirked once again when she fell for his request but it faltered with each tapping of her tail. Sighing, he made a small noise in his throat, before switching his gaze from her face to the annoying tail and back again. Draugur couldn't believe his luck when she admitted that she would reveal everything. He thought she would put up a small fight or something. Lupa must be so bothered by this fear of hers to happily admitting it to a stranger.
Swamp. Uh-uh. He was listening intently, with his triangular ears pushed forwards. The image of the swamp with Lupa standing somewhere in the muddy water came to his mind. She broke off and Draugur exhaled, realising that he had been holding his breath. He was so hooked up to her words because he expected that she wouldn't repeat it if he happened to miss it. Then a mortui. Ugh, he hated those creatures with their reeking living carcasses as their bodies. Those animals should not be called wolves. He quickly rid his opinions on the skeletal species from his mind and got himself hooked up to Lupa's speech again. Yeah, this Thanatos. But what had piqued his interest was how her voice cracked when she mentioned the name. It was him who had given her this fear. Draugur, for some reason, felt quite protective over Lupa, now that he knew who had afflicted her. He had to lean forwards to catch the latest sentence which she had spoken so fast. He had caught most of it, he thought.
Wrinkling his muzzle in confusion, so the two wolves had mated but why was she feeling pain? Was this mating a mista-- Oh. Oh. He retreated clumsily, and his wings flared open instinctively. Everything was hot and cold at the same time so he felt like shivering and sweating at the same time. Now there was no chance he could admit his own burden unless he wanted to hurt Lupa further. It would be immoral. Thanatos raped Lupa and Draugur raped Siren. The two males were just the same even though they had different motives behind each assault. Why the hell was he still feeling protective over her, even now when he knew what had caused her a such pain?! His throat involuntarily sent up a faint whine, very like to a trapped animal, as he found himself stuck between his conscience and his promise. He now saw how a female should feel after being... violated and it hurt him to know that Siren would never realise what he had done. No, no. Thanatos was better than him. Draugur was a worse wolf than the mortui; he had raped and hurt Siren's head. He had given her a brain damage. He stared at Lupa for a few but long moments as his brain searched for a replacement answer.
"Oh... I-I'm sorry to hear that." If Lupa knew what he did she would be absolutely furious and would be quick to assume that his apology was a lie. But he meant it sincerely. Then he planted a frown on his face to match his next words: "Now... now for me.." The words were stuck in his throat but he coughed them out hastily. "I-I ... I..." This won't be a lie, this would be a half of the whole truth. Draugur kept telling himself. Shaking his head he began again: "I caused... Siren... a head damage." He breathed deeply at the end as if it had taken an immense effort to speak them out. Well, it had been. The half truth was not helping to unload the heavy burden on his shoulders but... it was a start, wasn't it? But he was still hurting that he couldn't spill everything to Lupa. He had been so eager with this chance to unload everything but... it had been taken away so cruelly from him.

Lupa looked up as Draugur flared his wings and backed away. What was the matter? Lupa studied him curiously, then shook her head. Let him do what he wanted. She was done studying his eccentricities. The silvery she wolf shifted her weight a bit uneasily. What do you say to a wolf after you just told them after you told them, well, that? Lupa hung her head, but then looked up at the keiyou's shaky voice. His apology was sincere, and she could tell that by looking into his blood red eyes. She blinked, startled. They were almost the same shade of red as Thanatos, but the feelings in them were entirely different. Regret, shame, sorrow.. In Thanato's eyes there had been a cold, unfeeling look in them.
Maybe the keiyou wasn't that bad.. No, he was the one who had annoyed her all afternoon. But he was also the one who sounded so hurt. Whatever he was going to say, it was obviously really bothering him. Lupa was slightly in awe. She had been in a foul mood ever since she met Thanatos, yet Draugur had managed to keep his cool so long, but it really bothered him this much.. Of course, she would never admit she was in awe of the male, but she was feeling sorry for him, which was a entirely new emotion. Pity, she realized. She sat down, and patiently waited for Draugur to continue.
Her ears perked up slightly when he said the name 'Siren.' It was a nice name, and Lupa wondered who Siren was. It didn't matter though. For some reason, Draugur still looked troubled. He looked upset, and Lupa was confused. Wasn't this what he wanted? He wanted to tell someone about his problem, right? A head injury. It must have been really bad, for him to be feeling like so. "I'm sorry Draugur. And, well, if you don't mind me asking, but you seem.. Um, a little upset..." she trailed off, then looked around in surprise, as though someone else had said those words. She sounded like she had cared. Then, she realized she did. She felt pity for Draugur.
Lupa shifted her weight uneasily again, then shuffled her paws. Now that all was said and done, she was at a loss of what to do. She stared down at the ground, refusing to have her eyes meet Draugurs'. For some reason, she felt like she had ruined something. Scowling, she shooed the thought away; she didn't ruin anything, it was just her overreacting. She also felt like Draugur hadn't finished his story. Yet, as the silence grew longer, she concluded that Draugur was indeed done. Frustrated, Lupa growled softly under her breath, more to herself than Draugur.
Once again, the dreaded puzzle piece feeling was back. She needed one last piece, and then everything would click into place. Draugur.. Draugur.. She had heard that name before, she knew she had! This was getting tiring. She felt as though they were dancing carefully around one sticky subject. "Draugur, I feel like I've heard your name before.. Are you sure we haven't met before?" No, it was actually a stupid question. She was sure she hadn't met this male before. Then why was his name familiar? Lupa was puzzled, and she couldn't wait to get to the bottom of this.
OOC: Sorry for being late, and the amazing crappiness of reply...
